  I had an excellent experience with Safelite AutoGlass. They replaced my windshield just two days after I made the request, which was incredibly fast and convenient. The entire process was smooth and hassle-free. Leronte, the technician was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He did an outstanding job and made sure everything was done perfectly.   Made an appointment to get a replacement windshield and waited all day just for them to call me and tell me they won't work on my vehicle. If you can't work on anything you should let the customer know ASAP and not make them wait around all day

  My experience with Safelite has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. I initially chose Safelite because of their partnerships with major insurance companies like Progressive and the expectation that the process would be hassle-free compared to smaller auto glass shops. This situation began with a simple windshield chip repair. The technician arrived on time and repaired the original chip I scheduled. However, he identified another chip near the edge of the windshield that I was unaware of and considered high-risk. Without obtaining my approval, he attempted to repair it anyway, which resulted in my windshield cracking. Attempting to resolve this with the local Safelite shop was frustrating. The store was largely unresponsive, did not take ownership of the mistake, and did not advocate for a proper resolution. After two weeks of repeated calls — primarily to corporate because the store could rarely be reached directly — I was finally approved for a replacement windshield at no out-of-pocket cost. Unfortunately, the replacement created a new issue. The windshield installed was defective or improperly configured, causing the rearview mirror housing to fall because the mounting clips were not aligned correctly. I documented this immediately in the Safelite parking lot the same day I picked up the vehicle and scheduled a follow-up inspection. When I returned for the inspection, the manager spent less than five minutes looking at the vehicle, did not meaningfully evaluate the problem, and immediately denied the warranty claim after noticing that my windshield tint had been reapplied. I have medically prescribed tint due to light sensitivity, and I also provided timestamped photos showing the issue existed before any tint was installed - taken in Safelite’s own parking lot. Despite this, the claim was denied, and I was told to contact corporate again, repeating the same exhausting process as before. The overall professionalism of this location was also concerning. The shop environment included loud profane music, frequent phone disconnections routing callers to the national call center, and an inability for both myself and Safelite representatives to reach anyone at the store during the earlier issue. No other Safelite location I interacted with had these communication problems. Given that Safelite is often more expensive than local competitors, the level of workmanship, communication, and accountability I experienced was unacceptable. I cannot recommend this location and would strongly advise others to consider alternative auto glass providers.

  Safelite techs failed to show up for two appointments, the second being a no-call no-show. When I called customer service and finally got around the useless AI, they had no empathy for the situation and refused to do anything beyond reschedule me again. They also manage Geico's claims as some kind of middle man for estimate approvals, so even when I switched to another provider they stalled the process. Took me over a week to get my windshield replaced thanks to their incompetence and lack of accountability.
