- WMWendy MartinezDec 11, 20251.0I'm extremely disappointed with upper management and how they dismissed me after getting basically robbed $68.25 on Saturday due to THEIR faulty systems and process. I pulled up to fill my small suv and the screen at pump 10 locked up and wouldn't move past the rewards screen. I moved to pump 19 and I tried to use the reader and it also locked and wouldn't let me use my card. As I made my way inside the store I noticed a big suv pull up to pump 10 after I moved. I let the cashier know the situation and asked if they could cancel the pump so I wouldn't be charged for that guy's purchase and was told it shouldn't charge me. I paid in store $30 for my gas and a few minutes after I left i got a 2nd charge of $68.25 which i did not make. I drove right back to the store and to the cashier and let her know i was charged for a stranger's pump. The manager on duty made all attempts to reach a higher manager to request a refund on my behalf and was told my only option was to dispute with my bank. My bank denied my request and now I'm out $68.25 and had to cancel my card because of my dispute. I'm so frustrated and upset that I made an attempt to stop this from happening and racetrac refuses to refund me when clearly they were fully aware this was not my transaction and also aware their systems weren't working properly. I was robbed $68.25 on their watch and they don't care. DO BETTER!!!

I wish their breakfast sandwiches were more made to order. They're tasty but, I find the bottoms overcooked and dry and I would prefer no egg as an option. Just a thought, would definitely increase sales and retention.
