  Rented an oversized van (Sprinter-type) to help move my daughter from college, back home. It was very roomy and way better than the trucks i have rented in the past many years. The gas mileage of 11.1 mpg was atrocious, and it would not get up to 80mph... trying to navigate the turn pike and I-75 to Gainesville and back, with that traffic - I needed alot of time if i wanted to pass anyone. And when I did finally make it past them, i needed to get over right away - as i built a nice "conga" line behind me of unhappy slow drivers... I got back home and unloaded, refilled the gas tank completely full (not the almost full, but listed as full by the Home Depot Cashier/Penske rep.) and checked it back in. I asked about the AAA discount that was on the side of the van and told them that i was a AAA member, I was told by both Penske AND AAA that - that's too bad you didn't let us know before paying - now there is nothing we can do.... Why would neither Penske ask me if I was a member when I placed the order? or why would AAA not be upset that their members are not receiving benefits from their memberships??? It's only a 12% discount, but that's $36.00... what could you do with an extra $36.00? I'm sure many things... The Home Depot Cashiers were very nice. Disappointed with their "making it right" for their client... AAA and Penske. I am still waiting for my refunded amount and will call Penske tomorrow if it hasn't hit my credit card account by then (3 days after returning van, going basically 100 miles shorter of the assumed mileage x $0.99 / mile and the extra $150.00 deposit on renting the truck - which should be returned as soon as I return the truck - also waiting going on 3 days tomorrow (5-23-24). liked the van, liked the cashiers, seemed a good experience until the transaction part and customer service from managements (Penske & AAA). ... I will update if/when they reach out to me.

  One way rental to Valdosta ga. Truck ran great. Was charged $45 extra when i returned the truck. Attendees said it wasn't full although i filled it up half a block away. I drive trucks for a living for 35 yrs. So i know how to top of fuel tank. Other than that everything else was good.
