I have a long-standing commercial account with your company and rent vehicles from you frequently. I routinely authorize employees and family members to pick up vehicles on my behalf, and this has never been an issue.
By way of clear precedent, I have previously rented seven trucks at a single location using one corporate card, with authorized third-party pickups approved without issue.
Despite having pre-cleared my brother-in-law to pick up one of the two vans in Orlando, your staff refused to release the vehicle. This decision directly caused 12 people—including five children, two of whom were under the age of three—to be stranded at the airport for nearly six hours while waiting for me to arrive in person. This situation was entirely avoidable and reflects a serious failure to follow established commercial rental procedures.
During this delay, the group incurred substantial, unplanned food and expense costs solely due to your staff’s refusal to honor prior authorization. These expenses would not have occurred had your policies been properly applied.
The situation was further mishandled when I was prohibited from paying for both vans with my corporate card, forcing the use of two separate corporate cards. Even after complying, we were charged additional fees, compounding the financial impact of an already unreasonable delay.
This series of failures caused unnecessary hardship, financial loss, and significant disruption despite clear authorization and a well-documented commercial rental history. I am formally requesting full reimbursement of all additional charges, including excess fees and out-of-pocket expenses incurred during the delay, as well as a written explanation for why standard commercial protocols were ignored.
This matter must be immediately escalated to corporate management for review. I expect confirmation of that escalation, reimbursement, and a prompt resolution. Absent that, I will be forced to reconsider continued use of your company for commercial rentals.

Trusted and reliable. We rented a car for nine days after flying into Orlando, Florida. I initially searched online through Hopper and found what appeared to be lower priced rentals from other companies. However, when we arrived in Orlando, those companies could not be located, and when we attempted to call, we learned they closed at 8:00 p.m. As a result, we spent nearly $300 on Uber transportation just to get our group to the hotel.
The following day, once we finally found the rental location, what was advertised as a $154 rental increased to over $1,000 due to hidden fees. At that point, I booked a vehicle with Enterprise online, picked it up within 15 minutes, and the final price of $454 was exactly what was quoted.
Do not be misled by low prices found online. If it seems too good to be true, it likely is. Stick with Enterprise. They are exceptional and provide outstanding customer service.

The whole process is almost frictionless. Not necessarily easy, because like most travel-related things, it’s clearly run by algorithms that keep nudging prices up as you browse
You constantly get pop‑ups warning you that “everything is getting snatched up,” “you’ll miss out,” and “hurry!”, even though that rarely reflects real-life availability.
Pro tip: use your browser’s Private/Incognito mode when comparing prices and options
That said, once you actually make a decision, everything is smooth and pretty efficient
The one thing that cost a star was not being informed about tolls in Florida. I later found out that rental companies have arrangements with the state and tolls are automatically charged after the fact. Knowing that upfront (and having clearer payment options) would have saved me some unnecessary anxiety during the trip. Returning the car is super-easy. Signs on the road to the airport inform exactly where you should go and Enterprise representatives are extremely nice
Overall, a pricey and good experience: I paid $2,000 for two weeks in a Tahoe with seven people

The truck and the price were the typical great standards I have come to expect from Enterprise. The drop off was smooth and effortless as it always is. The issue with this rental was the rental counter at Orlando was extremely frustrating. It was a Sunday night at 8:30pm, so I understand staffing may not be at it's peak, but this didn't have to be like it was.
My reservation was a one way rental so it couldn't be checked in on the app or the kiosk, I had to see an attendant. So I waited patiently in line for 30 minutes, as there was only one at the time. Then a second attendant came, but there was a group of 5 people rent several vehicles that he was dealing with. Finally I get to the front, ready to get my car and drive home after a long day of travel. But hold on, the one attendant that was helping me was not able to do whatever was needed to be done so I had to have the second guy do it. Well he is still in the middle of the 5 person rental. 35 minutes later, so now we are over an hour of waiting in line, I get my rental agreement and am out the parking structure within 5 minutes.
There is absolutely no reason that I had to spend over an hour waiting to get this agreement. The guys at the Orlando counter did the best they could but Enterprise IT and Corporate need to do a better job designing a process or program to allow for faster checkout, one way or local should not matter, especially for a long term customer with an Enterprise Plus account.

We always rent with Enterprise. Usually we get the SUV on our reservation and when we arrive there is one there for us. We like to drive Fords but Enterprise doesn’t have many in stock so we take we is there. During our last reservation we reserved an SUV. There was no SUVs available at all. We ended up with a compact vehicle. We did not want to drive 4 hours out of our way to trade it in the next day when they my have an SUV available for us. So we kept the compact vehicle. We were not able to travel with our family members as easily as we would have with an SUV. Then after the car sat for 2 days we went out to see a flat tire. Enterprise sent us to a tire shop and the shop sent in for approval and that took 3 hours to get the approval for the shop. We wasted our entire day walking places and waiting for the car to be ready for us. We got the car back about 4pm. I just don’t understand why we make reservations for a specific vehicle and then arrive and they don’t have any. Why make a reservation??
