Stopped there the other day and the employee refused to help/assist because they assumed I didn’t speak English when I’m just girl that doesn’t know stuff about cars. Yeah, racist and unprofessional location. Won’t ever be going there again, nor any autozone ever again for that matter.

He went in seeking assistance with a car part and made it clear that he is not fully fluent in English but was doing his best to communicate. Instead of offering patience or support, an employee responded in an unprofessional and discriminatory manner, telling him that “he’s in America and needs to speak English” and that “Immigration speaks Spanish.” This behavior is completely unacceptable. No customer should ever be spoken to in this way, regardless of their language ability. My father left feeling disrespected and humiliated when all he wanted was help with a vehicle issue. As a company that serves diverse communities, AutoZone should ensure that all employees treat customers with respect and basic human decency. I hope management addresses this matter seriously so that no one else has to experience this kind of discrimination in the future.

The young woman stated that that she couldn't do it as she was the only person in the store. There were 2 other people in the store which she gave excuses why they could not plug in. Her excuses made no sense. She was very rude and did not even offer for help find another store. Will not be stopping in there again any time soon..
