  We were scammed by Alamo. You delivered the car almost 4 hours late, dirty, without having checked it and with only a half tank of fuel (Disney Car Care Center). Fifty miles from Disney the car engine light started flashing on the dashboard. We tried to contact the RSP line from the road and it was not possible (didn’t pick up the phone). We received assistance from the Florida State Road Assistance. The mechanic thought the problem was due to old oil. As night was falling he suggested trying to reach our destination (Sunrise). We were barely able to do it because the SUV was not responding. From the hotel in Sunrise the date of the arrival (Dec 26th) we called several times to the RSP line, to the Alamo office in Orlando (never answered), to Alamo Customer Service. We’ve been told to contact the local office in Sunrise (an Enterprise office) on Saturday morning, which we did. We called to that office every 2 hours from 9 am, waiting for an SUV change. Saturday 3 pm, they told us they didn’t have cars. Back again to the RSP and Customer line (always long waits to be served) they told us to contact another local office on Sunday, which we did; they didn’t have cars. So tired about the lack of commitment and failure to fulfill the contract by Alamo, we ask for the complete refound and a solution to continue our trip to Miami on Dec 29th. With great difficulty, by applying pressure and wasting several more hours we finally managed to get a ride in an Uber (hotel manager as a witness). Alamo ruined 3 days of our holidays. You abandoned us, a foreign family of four with a little child and an 80 years old woman. Lack of commitment, failure to fulfill the obligations with the client, lack of empathy, flawed strategies, terrible service, disrespectful behavior, Customer Last instead of Customer First, mocking employees. Complete lack of interest, no one contacted us or followed up on the case. For us this is not over. We have the means and the evidence to litigate unless we receive a refund, compensation and a sincere apology. Virginia Guadalupe Milanesio.

  Rented a car here while staying at the yacht club hotel, they arranged pick up from the hotel to collect the car and even worked around the fact I booked the wrong dates, to get me a car. Great service and help from Jeff for sorting it out.

  Very nice vehicle for our trip. Desk people were all friendly & helpful. Returning vehicle was easy. Will definitely use Alamo again & refer to others.
