- JMJonathan MoralesAug 15, 20251.0Terrible service, complicated, rude and disrespectful they confused me more than what they did to help me, buying online was a terrible mistake the website recommended the wrong one, can give you the difference between regular trim and another trim they will give you the wrong one and then blame it on you! I should have known! The system should have ask for my trim to provided me the correct part. Staff have zero idea about gift cards returns or where the money is going instead of making me pay the difference for what i needed they were rude and ask me to leave and call costumer service the next day! Terrible expirience with advance auto part at moss park then one of the staff short big guy may be spanish! Try to get loud and try to be intimidating, he try cause he just looks funny trying to do it but it is what it is!

However, the employees at AutoZone refused to handle my battery because it was located in my trunk. I proceeded to Advance Auto Parts, where a courteous individual named Tom efficiently replaced the battery within five minutes. I was impressed by the exceptional customer service I received.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
