  I brought my vehicle to Joe Hudson’s Collision Center in Ocala for front-end collision repairs after an accident. At the time the repair process began, I was told that the vehicle was repairable and the work proceeded on that basis. The first time I was notified that the vehicle was ready for pickup, I immediately noticed that the front grille had not been replaced. I returned the vehicle to the shop and was told the issue had been corrected the following day. Within about 24 hours of picking the vehicle up again, the car began applying the brakes on its own while I was driving. This was extremely concerning, especially since I had just been told the repairs were complete. Because of that experience, I decided to have the vehicle inspected by another dealership. During that inspection, I was informed that several concerns related to the repair work were identified. According to the inspection, some components had not been properly reinstalled, certain shields underneath the vehicle were missing, and areas of the frame that had been cut and welded did not appear to be fully welded around the joint (as shown in the photos). Based on the results of that inspection, I was later informed that the vehicle would be declared a total loss. What made this situation especially difficult for me was that my vehicle was nearly paid off before the accident. Because the vehicle was ultimately totaled, I had to take on a new vehicle loan at a time when interest rates are significantly higher, which created an unexpected financial burden. Discovering these issues only after the vehicle had already been returned to me was extremely frustrating. As a customer, I trusted that the repairs had been completed and properly checked before the vehicle was released. The overall experience resulted in significant stress, inconvenience, and financial impact. I would encourage anyone using this shop to carefully review the repairs and ask detailed questions before accepting their vehicle back. This review reflects my personal experience with the repairs performed on my vehicle.

  Excellent service excellent communication excellent staff high-quality work. I was very impressed. Communication was very good, ask for Shawn. He has the patience of a saint, and is definitely a master craftsman. My car looks brand new.
