  Todd was amazing always felt I was a valued customer. Todd handled a difficult negotiation with the warrant company resulting in a positive outcome for me the customer. Thank you Todd for having my back. The service receptionist was awesome also. Amanda the head service manager encouraged Todd to do the best for the customer every step of the way👍👍👍👍👍

  This was our second RV purchase and our first purchase at the General RV store. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE. The sales person, Tressan, was very knowledgable, And had all the time in the world to explain every little detailed and showed us around what we were looking for. Maria, organized the appointments, tech support and delivery, everything on time and with the best attitude. Trey, the financial person, gave us all the options and details, was clear and precise. Shane, the tech person, knew what he was talking about and had all the information about the RV from A to Z. The RV was delivered to out property by Gadwin, he set it up perfectly and made sure everything was plugged and working correctly. It was truly a pleasure to work with a Family Owned Business.

  TREY in finance looked us in the eye and said we have a $ 3,000.00 warranty that covers everything from “ bumper to bumper “ We were all in. We had made a list of about 10 things that needed fix on the RV a month later. After multiple phone calls and leaving our RV there. NOTHING WAS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. I had pulled Trey a side and expressed my concerns. Trey said he would find out what's going on and why things are not covered on the warranty. Trey had vanished? I was then told by someone else why the warranty didn't cover the mutable things that were broken. If you have money to throw away and you like lip service I recommend General RV.. What a terrible $150.000 dollar experience plus the cost of a 3 k warranty that covers only the brand name appliances that really don't break until after the warranty expires.

  Recently purchased a 2017 Thor hurricane (10/30/25) sales team was amazing and very helpful. Tom, deAndrea, and James were absolutely amazing but on other hand with the service department was total crap!!! Waited 5 days before pick up so my coach could be re-inspected/serviced. I was told the chassis needed to be serviced by ford understandably but the rest of the rv was up to par and after 100hrs of generator use it would need to be serviced again, well turns out the fuel filter, oil/ oil filter/ air filter were never changed (oil was absolutely black and extremely low that could caused major expensive damage upwards of 10k dollars with picture proof). Day 1 found water on floor from pump screws being loose prior to water hook up almost causing major damage. Day 3 it got cold and went to turn on the heat but nothing happened, further inspected the issue and found the board was fried (pictures), it obviously didn’t just happen it’s been this way for a long time!!! Thankfully I’m mechanically inclined but if an older person with little knowledge on these bought this they would’ve been screwed!!! The only compensation I’ve been offered is to drive this big coach 2hrs back at 8mpg after several hrs of getting it in place for “service” that they would’ve pretended to do!!! (Should’ve offered someone to come make the repairs in Daytona from their team or compensate to have someone take care of their mess) They should’ve made the repairs prior to the sale or notated the issues or sold to auction. Thank you general rv for the lemon 🍋!!!! The sales team did their job professionally and as helpful as they could be (this truly is not the sales teams fault).

  General RV in Ocala may be a place to purchase an RV but certainly don't use them for service as they are TERRIBLE!!! I have many examples of why they are terrible but will only describe my last experience. We bought a Winnebago Navion from General RV in Ocala in April of 2024 and had a fairly normal experience. Last fall we had them perform some warranty work after traveling all summer and in addition had them change the oil in the diesel engine. They managed to screw up the oil change (didn't put enough oil in the engine twice before finally getting it right) however that isn't the major problem. On our next trip after traveling a few thousand miles, the oil filter backed off of the engine (as it wasn't tightened properly) resulting in oil being sprayed out the engine and having to be towed to a Mercedes dealership. The Mercedes dealership mechanic found that General RV in Ocala didn't install the o-ring correctly and didn't tighten down the oil filter cap resulting in the loss of oil. Upon returning to Florida, I called the service department to discuss the issue however the service managers were always "busy" so I was told they would call back.....which never did. I have called 4 times now and left messages and have yet to receive a call back. So to summarize.....DON'T....and I repeat DON'T use General RV in Ocala for service. They are TERRIBLE and don't even understand the courtesy of calling customers back.
