  I would like to give a shout out to Tressen! My husband and I are thinking about purchasing a 5th wheel, we already went to 3 places to look and decided to come to look in Ocala. The sales rep Tressen was AMAZING! She was so kind and patient with us. We knew mostly what we wanted and what we did not want. She explained to us the terms so we better understood. She took time to keep searching her inventory list to find more and more campers for us to view. She was open and honest with us the entire time which my husband and I appreciate. If you decided to come to General RV in Ocala ask for Tressen!!!!

  Purchased a used Mercedes motor home from the Ocala Florida location in October. Drove it home to Alabama. Everything is great until my 30 day tag runs out, I call the dealership and they tell me there was an issue with some of the paperwork and that they will send me another 30 day tag. So now the second 30 tag is expired. Now I have called the dealership 15 times in the last 2 weeks, can't speak to anyone except the receptionist, she explains to me that everyone is so busy. I called the bank where my RV is financed and they don't even have the title. Not sure what kind if games this place is playing, im not interested in games. I hope someone im there management sees this review and reaches out to me before I drive this RV back to Ocala.

  Stay away from this dealership. Salesman was not a problem. Sales manager and finance not so good. Offered to pay cash and was told only way I could get rv at that price was to finance. Went to dealership a second time, finance person had me sign a paper for finance only with nothing on contract, said he would fill out later. Sales manager told me how to get by without paying a lot of intrest because the dealership needed to make money from the deal some how. Dealership went south after Sales manager tried to make me feel like I was wrong and I was giving up the deposit. First time I heard about the deposit was non refundable. He said it was in contract that I signed. There was nothing on contract when I signed for finance. This is a shady dealership. Buyer Beware

  DO NOT BUY FROM GENERAL RV. General RV sold us a camper that had clearly been used as a show model and deliberately misrepresented it as otherwise. From day one, it was obvious the unit had been poorly handled and rushed together. The electrical wiring is an absolute disaster—incorrect, unsafe, and sloppily installed. Nothing about this camper reflects professional workmanship. Everything was put together horribly, as if quality control simply did not exist. When we raised these issues, General RV assured us repeatedly that everything would be fixed and that we were protected by insurance and coverage. That was a complete lie. Two years later, we are still dealing with unresolved problems, and the so-called coverage they sold us has been entirely useless. It was nothing more than false reassurance to get the sale closed. Their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced—and that is not an exaggeration. They are never available, never responsive, and when you do manage to get through, they place you on hold indefinitely until you give up. Calls go unanswered, promises are broken, and accountability is nonexistent. Once they have your money, they disappear. General RV operates with deception, negligence, and complete disregard for their customers. If you value your money, your time, or your sanity, DO NOT BUY FROM GENERAL RV. This company sells problems, not RVs.
