- SSShellyJun 27, 20251.0The truck was ready to pick up on schedule. The trailer was not. The Dooley was not loaded in the truck. We ended up with an appliance dolly that was useless as we had no appliance to load, only A LOT of boxes. If we had not checked the truck, we would not know of existing issues as Penske does not do a walk through of their rentals and this truck should not have been rented with alignment issues, transmission issues, no fu crooning emergency brake knowing we would’ve crossing steep grids through the long haul. We had to reschedule movers due to delays to get tue truck out of the Penske lot and had to return after the truck was loaded to pick up the trailer drive it back to the old resident to load the car due to the trailer not being with the truck. The second trip to load our car was done in a thunder storm and pouring rain and we delay our move timeline as a result of poor coordinations from Penske and weather. We completed our relocation with a 22’ truck that had no emergency brake, bad alignment that pulled the truck to the right for a long haul drive and towing a trailer that had a broken bar which punctured the same passenger tire on the trailer 4 times causing delay and slow Penske repair response until we demanded they pick up the trailer and had to drive the car towed the final 30 miles to our location. Penske does not even deserve a one star! For the sake of reviews and readers who need to know don’t assume the one star is worthy. It’s just google. #penskeneveragain
