- JYjesse YawnMay 30, 20251.0I went in today to ask about getting a part i needed.the older shorter guy was very rude not helpful at all.also I needed to return a loaned tool from another location.didnt scan the tool .said he could find me in the computer.very unprofessional the whole time saying rude remarks.i had to go outside and call a manager from the fort walton location and go inside on speaker phone so they could talk to him.another guy helped me when I came back inside he was very nice and knowledgeable.after talking to the manager he was able to return the tool. I bought the part I needed at another auto store in niceville.wont be back here.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
