    I made a reservation in October for a rental from November 22–24, 2025, and I confirmed the pickup for November 21st and added my credit card. On November 22nd, just one hour before my scheduled pickup, I received a call from the New Smyrna office informing me that they had no vehicle available for me. I was told that the previous renter had not returned the vehicle and was not answering calls. They then said the earliest I could get a car would be Monday. This is completely unacceptable. I made my reservation a month in advance, confirmed it, and added my payment information. After pushing back, the employee said they would “see what they could do,” and later told me a vehicle was supposed to be dropped off at 1 PM. I never received a call, so I had to call back myself. At that point, I was told the vehicle still wasn’t returned and the renter wasn’t answering the phone either. The employee — acting as the stand-in manager — also gave conflicting information. First he claimed the original rental was never turned in. Then, after I insisted on speaking with someone else, he suddenly stated that the rental had actually been extended the night before on the 21st. If that is true, then: 1. Why would they extend a rental knowing there were reservations for the weekend? 2. Why did he originally tell me the vehicle was simply not returned and the renter wasn’t answering? 3. If the extension was made the night before, why did I not receive a call until one hour before my scheduled pickup? To make matters worse, they close at 2 PM, and by 1:53 PM I still had no vehicle and no solution. The employee said there was nothing he could do and claimed he had to call the area manager — yet would not provide me with the number, which felt very suspicious. Because of Enterprise’s mishandling, lack of communication, and contradictory information, my family’s entire trip was ruined. Our plans fell apart, and we were devastated. I have been a loyal Enterprise customer for years, but after this experience, I do not believe I can trust or use this company again.

    Unfortunately, this was a bad experience. I spoke with Bree (in length) and specifically rented a certain make/model to drive for two days to see if I would wanted to purchase this type of vehicle. The car would not be ready until 3pm so I called to change reservation to 930am the next morning, again CONFIRMING the specific make/model. Upon arriving to check in I was informed they did not have that particular vehicle and they rented it out. They offered an upgrade. I did not need an upgrade, I rented a specific make/model. .(That should have been held and new arrivals offered an upgrade) She absolutely unconcerned about the time wasted and was not in any way apologetic. She was slumped at her desk mumbling about seeing if another one was available in the area (like I had all day to Uber to different locations). There is no excuse and this was VERY unprofessional.👎 New Smyrna Beach location

    Everything was great check-in and check-out, car was ready when it was supposed to be, clean and no problems, people were great, friendly. The price was also cheaper than the other car rental in town.
