In early February 2026, my car went into the wash in good condition and came out with a damaged fender. The response I received several days after the incident from the manager was: "After reviewing the claim, we determined that the fender came off due to a pre-compromised fender fastener, rather than a malfunction or negligence on the part of the wash." So, my question is: if the fender was broken before entering the wash, why didn't the guy in line notice it? The damage was obvious (half of the fender was exposed on the outside of the car, ripped off by the force of one of the machines, presumably the tire cleaning machine). They have cameras everywhere, but the email response I received wasn't backed up by any video or photo evidence. At this point, with such a terse and unsubstantiated response, the customer is the loser. (The picture shows the fender liner completely removed due to I couldn't put the damaged part back in place).
