My engine light went on and I had the guys pull codes on my car for free. That was a huge help to know if I needed to get to a repair shop right away. Jim K recommended several shops which was a huge help!!! Because of their help I was able to get my car to a shop and fixed asap. I appreciated Jim’s concern for my car situation. That goes a long way in my book when someone actually cares.

A few days ago I thought I lost my back up fob key for my Nissan. I called Nissan and the price quoted was $700! Auto Zone was recommended and I used them on CT. I called Auto Zone on Collier Blvd. in Naples.. A gentleman by the name of Jose R. took the time to explain because of the chip they couldnt help me, but took the time to give me choices to call. Battery Plus was one for $175. Long story short this patient and kind man Jose R. Will be remembered for future car needs. I called back last name Rodriguez. Bottom line..I FOUND THE 2ND KEY!

On November 7, 2025, I called the AutoZone on the corner of Collier Boulevard and US 41 in Naples, Florida to confirm that a starter for my Jeep Unlimited Sport 4x4 was in stock. The gentleman I spoke with was helpful over the phone, confirmed that the part was available, and I told him I’d be there shortly.
About ten minutes later, I arrived at the store and greeted the associate at the counter, explaining that I had just called about the starter. His response: “I never got a call about a starter; I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I brushed that off and explained again what I needed. He pulled up the starters on his screen and showed me the options. When I pointed to the model category to clarify which one applied to my Jeep, he abruptly said, “Don’t touch the screen,” spun it toward me, and asked, “What is it that you’re talking about?”
At that point, I calmly explained the difference between the models. Instead of listening, he interrupted repeatedly, insisting that all the starters were the same. When I tried to share a previous experience at another AutoZone (where I had purchased the wrong parts due to a similar mix-up), he cut me off again and accused me of being “aggressive” and “hostile.”
I was completely taken aback — I hadn’t raised my voice or shown any hostility whatsoever. I told him I wasn’t being aggressive and that I believe in treating people respectfully. His response? He sarcastically asked me if I “needed a hug.”
That comment was wildly inappropriate, condescending, and unprofessional — especially coming from someone representing a major retail brand. I was stunned. I turned to leave, but as I was walking toward the exit, he called out across the store offering me a “10% discount.”
It turns out the individual was the store manager, “B. Craig.” Frankly, that makes the situation even worse. For a manager to speak to a customer this way is beyond unacceptable.
I’ve shopped at AutoZone for years and have always believed in supporting the brand, but this experience was so disrespectful and unprofessional that I left the store in complete disbelief. No customer should ever be spoken to in this manner, especially not by management.
This location desperately needs to address its customer service standards and ensure that staff — especially those in leadership positions — are trained in basic professionalism and respect. I would strongly recommend taking your business to another AutoZone or a different auto parts store altogether until this store corrects its issues.
