We showed up 20 minutes before they closed and John was an absolute godsend. He treated us with nothing but kindness and empathy, there were so many moments that other people would’ve been so rude in and he didn’t show any type of annoyance or anger. John and Adrian I believe were so incredibly nice to us and it made our whole entire week. We want to thank you for being so kind and such amazing help when we were being impossible. I will never go to a different advanced auto parts simply because of the kindness they showed us last night. Once again, john is the best.

That’s when my car started making an awful noise and struggling to start. I find out it’s been running on NO oil for who knows how long… and to make things worse, I had no oil cap. I’m exhausted, it’s late, and Advanced Auto Parts is closing in 20 minutes. I figure, “I’ll just run in, grab a cap, and be done.” That’s when I met JOHN. He greeted me with a smile and immediately jumped into helping me. He found the right cap for my car within minutes and even came outside to make sure it fit properly. Crisis solved—or so I thought. Then my card wouldn’t work. My mom had actually ordered the wrong part at another store, and now I had no way to pay. At this point, I was seconds away from breaking down in tears. I apologized for wasting his time, especially so close to closing. But John just looked at me, saw how stressed out me and my friend were, and said: “It’s okay, kiddo. Take it—I’ve got you covered.” I tried to refuse, but he insisted. This man had no reason to help two overwhelmed teenagers at the end of his long day, but he did anyway—with kindness and compassion. John, you are the reason I still have faith in humanity. You turned a nightmare of a day into a reminder that there are still good, selfless people out there. I pray life blesses you the way you blessed us. Thank you, John—you’re not just an amazing employee, you’re an amazing human being. ❤️
