  I had a great experience here! Mark was incredibly helpful and friendly from the moment I walked in. I came in for a tire rotation and didn’t have to wait long at all. The shop was clean, organized, and I was greeted right away. Excellent customer service! definitely recommend!

  So my wife was needing to get new tires and had a question as to why one of her wheel rims was always coated black. I convinced her to go to the new Mavis Discount Tire near the Stoneybrook Publix (6543 N Orange Blossom Trail), since it was nearby and new. They quoted her $900 for 4 new tires and an alignment. They also stated that her wheel was black because the driver's side front brake caliper was locked up, causing the driver's side to do more work. They quoted $1700 for the brake and caliper job on the front wheels. She went ahead and had them change and align the tires for $900, as I planned to do the brakes with my ex-father in law, as he knows how to do them and we have done them before. She dropped it off Thursday, and I planned to change her front brakes on Saturday. She got her car back Thursday afternoon, and noticed the steering wheel was now shaking and her wheels had a rumbling sound that was never there before. We had plans to go to the beach in my car the next day (Friday), so it was not used, and I told her that I had to take the front tires off to change the brakes and calipers, so to let me see if that fixes the problem. Saturday, we changed the front brakes/calipers/bleed the brakes ($180 in parts/fluid). When we drove the car, it still had some rumble and shaking in the steering wheel, but it was about half of what it was after they changed all 4 tires. I told my wife to take it to Mavis on Monday so they can check the balance/alignment, since it never had this issue until they changed the tires. She went in Monday morning and they basically told her that since they never drove the car before they changed the tires, they have no idea if the issue was there or not and asked her how they should know it was only after the tire change. She told them that they should know it because she is telling them about it, and the guy brushed her off and said if he checked it, he would have to charge her. I have driven her car many times, and never has it had this issue. She showed it to me the day we got the car back, and it was very noticeable. For them to not even seem to care that it was due to their work is incredibly poor customer service. To not even attempt to care, and to basically brush her off as a liar is insulting. I am a creature of habit, and I go to the same places over and over as long as they do the right thing and I feel I am getting fair service. Screw Mavis, they've lost a customer for life and I will never set foot in the place again. I will also point people to other places ever chance I get. You only get to make one impression, and the one they made is incredibly poor. Screw that place.

  $165 diagnostic fee if you don’t get work done by them just a heads up. Couldn’t give itemized breakdown either. Very odd. Prices very very high in my opinion. Would not recommend went down the street for half the price.

It’s rare to find someone who genuinely looks out for your best interest, and that really stood out. The service was quick, everything was done right, and communication was solid throughout.
