Safelite came to my house and replaced the windshield the day after I got home. They replaced the windshield and recalibrated the cameras attached to the windshield. It took less than an hour to complete the job.

- RRRoverguy1250Dec 24, 20251.0Would not recommend or deal with in the future. Not a happy camper. Looked for every possible way to get out of doing it, instead of getting it done. RESPONSE: Delay? That wasn’t even the main issue (although it was…twice). The main issue is that your tech came out and saw what he considered “an issue” and advised against it. You should’ve seen “the issue”. It was a joke and once I saw what he was referring to (being a tech in the past), I didn’t want him to touch my glass. I knew something would’ve been done incorrectly and it would’ve been worse off than it is now. Instead, I told him I’d live with the crack and keep my factory windshield that still heats and senses rain. I’m almost certain those would’ve been inoperable after his install (or leaked or some issue). I am better off with what I have. Oh, and it was Christmas Eve, so hopefully he was able to take off early, because that had to be his real m.o. behind him trying to talk me out of it. What a shame. Never again.

Scheduled from 8am-12pm and they didn't show up till past 2pm causing us to be late to an appointment we had. Amazing that no apologies or discount was offered but if we did not show up on time they would still charge us. The pricing was pretty high (yes, we did choose to use them bc we thought they would be on time and it be done while we work). If we knew they would be late we would have gone with local glass company who offered us a better price (we just would have had to bring our car there).
