- SHScott HanksFeb 8, 20261.0I purchased a fifth wheel from the Tallahassee office several years ago. I recently had a propane regulator go bad and I purchased a new one from the Tally store. I was on the way to my camp site and installed it once I arrived. The unit leaked from the very moment I installed it. I used Teflon tape and I have years of mechanical experience. My good friend who owned a gas piping business double checked my installation and came to the same conclusion as me, the unit was leaking. I took the regulator back to camping world and I was told that since I did not have the original package that I could not get a replacement. I then asked why couldn't the replacement package be used for the return. I was informed that it needed to go back on the shelf for resale. I asked the person and he said it is probably an installation issue. Just the thought of someone putting a faulty gas regulator back on the shelf for someone else to purchase and put themselves at risk made my mind up, this is the last time I step foot in that location. I had issues with them when I purchased my 5th wheel and I was giving them another chance.

It didn't take long for me to find out that couldn't be farther from the truth. I was told theyd replace the busted oven exhaust cover, but havent seen that. Week one the radio went out. Week two, propane regulator went out costing me to 30ib tanks. Week three I discovered the oven won't stay lit. 2 months, I discovered the shower floor is soft, and the ceiling fan stopped working.

He was pulling out of the parking lot and the Service Advisor stopped him and asked if he would look at our roof because there was a leak in it, and he did. He ended up staying and fixing it all, off the clock! Thanks so much to the Service Tech named Justin at Camping World of Tallahassee, Fl
