    My husband and I decided to rent a car for the day with Sixt as we were staying at the Intercontinental Miami. Anibal was great to work with and provided us with a great car for the day. We weren't looking for anything fancy, but it was nice to drive a BMW x7 for the first time. We were happy with the price and the overall experience with picking up and dropping off the car with ease. Thanks again, Anibal!

    Nous avons loué un vehicule pendant 3 jours du 28 au 31 octobre 2025 sur cette agence via le site internet. Le 28 octobre, nous avons récupéré le véhicule avec le voiturier Anibale. Celui ci nous a fait nos papiers et l'encaissement. Sur le site internet lors de la réservation, nous avons refusé les assurances complémentaire. Une fois arrivé au paiement, le tarif indiqué n'était pas le même, nous avons alors demandé à Anibal ce qu'il en était. Il nous a affirmé qu'il s'agissait de l'empreinte bancaire pour la caution. Nous lui avons fait confiance et avons procéde à l'empreinte bancaire. Un décaissement de 312€ est prévu sur nos comptes, au lieu des 133€ prévus initialement. Nous avons donc contacté le Sav qui nous dit que nous avons souscrit aux assurances complémentaire et que nous avons reçus un mail avec le détail. Sauf que nous recevons le mail une fois le paiement fait, et qu'on nous a rajouté l'assurance alors que nous l'avions refusé à plusieurs reprise. On nous a clairement trompé et arnaqué, profitant qu'on soit touriste !

    I would not recommend renting from this location or Sixt at all. They have been sued before for their business practices regarding false damages. I picked up my vehicle from FLL, I did a walk around and did not notice any significant damages. When I returned it to this location at Miami Intercontinental Hotel, the employee pointed out a very small ding on the hood of the vehicle. You cannot even notice this in the pictures they took and there is NO way that I wouldve noticed it upon pickup from a dim parking garage. She told me that I might be charged and to look in my email for a document with pre-existing damage. I looked at the document and there were 45 DENTS/DINGS/SCRATCHES listed. I dont know if I was supposed to go line by line to confirm these damages or what, but I asked to speak to a manager immediately. The manager told the employee to remove the damages from the report, but apparently they added them back on when I left. They also indicated that there was paint damage. This was a lie. You could barely even see the ding. I am disputing this with AMEX and reporting them to the BBB. I would love to hear experiences from other customers who are people of color as I almost feel that they are racist. The gentleman before me was returning a vehicle and the employee barely even examined it before sending him on his way. But she somehow managed to find a new, unnoticeable dent to add to 45 other pre-existing damages.

    We went to Sixt to return our car at 5 PM. We were only five minutes late due to traffic. When we arrived, everything was already closed. One of the employees was still there, but he completely refused to help us. Instead, he just grabbed his lunch boxes and practically made fun of us for being five minutes late. But here’s the thing — if we had arrived exactly at 5 PM, you would’ve already been closed anyway! So how can you have a return time of 5 PM when that’s also the time you close? Absolutely terrible service! The fact that an employee was still there and refused to assist us, simply walking away when we asked what to do, is beyond absurd. We are Diamond members and have never experienced anything like this before. Completely unacceptable — we will most likely never use your services again!

    I’ve rented from this location more times than I can count—probably close to 200 days this year alone—and I keep hoping the experience will improve. It hasn’t. Every visit, I wait around 20 minutes just to get my car, even though I’m a long-time repeat customer. No sense of urgency, no recognition of loyalty. They’re extremely rigid when it comes to honoring rental preferences. I’ve asked for specific models (like a BMW X1), only to get something else entirely (like an X2) without so much as an apology. Instead, I’m treated like I’m crazy for not appreciating the “upgrade” from an SUV to a hatchback. The quality of the vehicles has also been disappointing. Last month’s car had physical damage. This month’s car? Smells like cigarette smoke. It’s honestly embarrassing that I have to drive around in it. What’s even more frustrating is that when I rent from Coral Gables, I’m often upgraded— they acknowledge my rental history and treat me like a valued customer. Why can’t this location do the same? Why should I have to drive to the airport to get a decent, clean car? I want to keep giving this location my business, but it’s getting harder to justify. At the very least, respect repeat customers and stop handing out cars that smell like ashtrays.
