  Amazing Experience with Sixt in Miami! We rented a car from Sixt this weekend during our trip to Miami, and we were so impressed from start to finish. The team at the rental desk was friendly, professional, and made the whole process smooth and easy. The car was clean, comfortable, and in perfect condition — exactly what we needed for exploring the city and beaches. Pick-up and drop-off were both fast and organized, which saved us so much time. The pricing was fair and transparent with no surprises. Overall, Sixt made our weekend getaway even better! Highly recommend Sixt for anyone traveling to Miami — we’ll definitely rent from them again! 🚗✨

  Rental process was easy but what should’ve been a $300 rental for 4 days turned into to be $466. Not only that but the do a $200 deposit fee bringing the total to $666. We returned the vehicle in the exact same shape we received it, dropped it off 30 mins before the return time and all. Easy process. However they charged us $641! They could give an explanation, the invoice says it was dropped of at 2:30PM when we dropped it off at 11:30 AM. Even went through there machine that scans the vehicle. This place is a scam. Will never do business with these slimy people ever again. Watch yourself they are as dirty as they come.

  BEWARE!!! Rent from any other company. We use a lot of rental car companies and had no issues ever. First time using SIXT and they’re deceptive, dishonest and I would consider them a scam. They’ve been in million dollar lawsuits for fraudulent charges. We rented 3 vehicles for a week, 2 were in okay shape and one was great. They acknowledged the “wear and tear” on pickup. We had them a week with zero issues as we were on the beach so little driving. Upon return they looked at vehicles and we heater out. Fast forward a month and we receive an email bill for $1500 damages on one vehicle. We inquired as to what as nothing happened. They “could not disclose” we refused and stated that we did not damage anything. This went on and on. Now the credit collectors have been sent out. FRAUD!! Stay far away from this horrible company. And good luck speaking to anyone. Hours for disputes are 10-2pm eastern time. Okay.

  Sixt Fort lauderdale gave me a car that had no working bluetooth/navigation/ or USB access in the car. When I called customer service they told me to bring it to miami dade and have it swapped out. When I brought it there they tried to give me another car with the exact same issue. I told them nevermind I dont want to rent a car from this company. They told me to leave the car there and call customer service for a refund. Now customer service is stating they cant do anything because the ticket was never closed at miami dade or fort lauderdale. And I don’t have access to the car anymore. They are refusing to refund me. They also stated to me that unless you rent a “luxury” car they dont have to have working bluetooth/nav/or USBs. I paid 200$ a day for a car and they tried to give me some car with no working electronics. It was also shaking when at stoplights and now they wont refund me the money for the car I never drove for more than 20 minutes before returning it. This company is a scam! Go elsewhere

  I rented the car from October 28 to November 19. Today is December 29, 2025, and the issue is still unresolved. I consider this a scam and a very bad experience. I paid a $200 deposit and after returning the car I was charged an additional $296.02 without valid reason. Before picking up the car, I prepaid the “Peace of Mind” package online. At the pickup location, I also paid separately for tools for the rental period. When I returned the car, Sixt charged me $296.02, claiming it was for the Peace of Mind package. I provided proof that this package was already fully paid in advance. After that, they changed their explanation and said the charge was for tools — which I also proved I had already paid for. In short: Peace of Mind → paid Tools → paid Still charged again → $296.02 Together with the deposit, Sixt kept $496.02 without any valid justification. This feels like misleading and fraudulent billing practices. I strongly recommend checking your invoices carefully if you rent from Sixt Miami Airport.
