  OK as car rentals go. When we went to pick up the vehicle in the garage, it was the only minivan they had, so no real choice. When we started it up, all the instructions were in Spanish. There was no one there initially to help us to change it into English. We did find someone eventually to change everything to English. Plusses: interior was clean, gas tank full, comfortable car to drive Negatives: We drove at night with no instrument lights because we couldn't figure out how to turn them on; interior windshield was filthy with a film on the inside windows. I had to borrow a bottle of Windex from hotel cleaning ladies to go down and clean it so as to prevent a possible accident due to glare through the haze. It seems companies are so driven to cut costs that they are really also cutting customer service.

  Disappointed, we were given a car with 63,000 miles on it. There was a hole in the driver side floor worn away from people’s shoes. It had dents and scratches all over it. The windshield wipers needed to be replaced, it was extremely dangerous when it rained for me to see. Also the inside of the windshield was cleaned with something that caused horrible streaks adding to the horrible windshield wipers. The fan belt or something was squeaking and all the tire low pressure lights came on. Driving at 1230 in the morning with a 2 hour ride ahead of me after many airline delays, raining and dangerous to see out the windshield has mage the Alamo experience not a good one.

  Arrived at the airport (MIA) And took the tram to Alamo Unfortunately, at that time they ran out of the vehicle that I reserved and requested (convertible) And was not able to provide me with a comparable vehicle at the time. This was due in part to the government shut down and customers keeping cars longer than they originally planned. Visited the rental center the next morning and was met with their manager who rapidly exchanged the vehicle provided to me for the vehicle I requested. Upon returning the vehicle, five days later, the manager was kind enough to reverse the first days charge for me as a courtesy due to the inconvenience of having to come backs I would definitely recommend using them as a rental center. Vehicle is clean and service is great and I was made whole.. Thank you very much

  Excellente expérience chez Alamo Miami Airport Tout s’est parfaitement bien passé, sans aucune mauvaise surprise. Tout est clair et transparent du début à la fin. À la location, on réserve une catégorie de véhicule, mais une fois sur place, dans le parking souterrain, l’équipe montre tous les modèles disponibles de même catégorie et laisse le choix au client..un vrai plus ! Les véhicules sont propres, récents et en excellent état. Au retour, la restitution est tout aussi simple : l’agent vérifie la voiture devant vous et envoie immédiatement un e-mail de confirmation, ce qui est très rassurant. Rien à voir avec l’agence voisine AVIS, qui ne communique pas et procède à des prélèvements surprises après coup. Je recommande vivement Alamo pour leur professionnalisme, leur clarté et leur efficacité.

  DISAPPOINTED! I got to Miami Airport to pick up my reserved Nissan Rogue or similar, Alamo's mid-size SUV. I made the mistake of bypassing the counter and going directly to my car. When I got there I was told the only car available was a Mitsubishi Outlander. This is not a mid-size SUV, but is rather known in the industry as a "compact crossover SUV". I was told by the lot attendant that nothing else was available except some giant family van; take it or leave it. He immediately wandered off somewhere. Left with no choice and no offer for any sort of upgrade, and being a bit tight for time I took the Mitsubishi. It was a BIG mistake. The vehicle is small for my 6' frame. Seats were uncomfortable and lacked meaningful adjustment. Onboard tech was 10 years behind the time; no nav, no Apple CarPlay. The engine was so tiny that when you stepped on the gas it only made more noise. In other words it was junk. Watch out. Don't skip the counter. Make sure you know what they are going to give you.
