  We had an excellent experience with Alamo during our 10-day trip in Florida. We were given a Chrysler Pacifica, which was surprisingly comfortable and a pleasure to drive throughout our travels. The pickup process at Miami Airport and the drop-off process at Sarasota Airport were both smooth and efficient. Every employee we encountered was friendly, professional, and accommodating. One feature I especially appreciated was the text support option during our trip. It was easy to use, convenient, and allowed us to get our question answered quickly without any hassle. Overall, a great rental experience from start to finish. I would definitely rent from Alamo again.

  Had the most amazing experience. The pricing was competitive but the best part was the customer service. Being able to do an online check-in to avoid going to an actual agent (I’ve had horrible experience with other companies where they are super high pressure to sell you extra coverage). We went straight to the garage where we were greeted by a friendly worker who showed us where the car was parked. Car was very clean. When we returned the car, a friendly worker greeted us, making sure our trip was great and making sure the car was great. Exceptional experience all around!!!

  Update: A week after returning my rental car, I received an invoice from Alamo for toll road usage totaling $26. While I fully understand and accept responsibility for paying the tolls I incurred, I was surprised to see an additional $25 service fee added to the bill. A service charge that is nearly equal to the toll amount itself seems excessive and was never clearly disclosed to me at the time of rental. When I picked up the vehicle at MIA, the Alamo representative did not mention any toll processing fees or related charges. Greater transparency regarding these fees would have allowed me to make a more informed decision. Unfortunately, this experience has left me disappointed and feeling that the additional charge is unfair. Prospective customers should carefully review Alamo's toll policies before renting. I had a great experience renting a car from Alamo. Damien was friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout the process. Picking up the car was quick and easy, and the drop-off was just as smooth and hassle-free. The vehicle was brand new, clean, and exactly as expected. Excellent customer service and a seamless rental experience from start to finish. I would definitely rent from them again and highly recommend their service. Kudos to Damien.

  I had an excellent experience with Alamo Rent A Car at Miami International Airport (MIA). The pickup process was incredibly fast and efficient. The paperwork took only a few minutes, and everything was clear and transparent from start to finish. One of the things I appreciated most was that there were no hidden fees or unexpected charges — the price I booked was exactly the price I paid. On top of that, Alamo offered some of the most competitive rates on the market without compromising on quality. Their fleet is modern, well-maintained, and includes many newer vehicles, making the driving experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Alamo to anyone renting a car in Miami who values speed, transparency, and great value for money. I will definitely choose them again on my next visit.   Overall, the rental process was fairly smooth, and I had no major issues with Alamo. However, the experience could have been even better if the self-service kiosk that was advertised had actually been available for use. Since I already had a secured reservation, having to wait an additional 30 minutes at the counter felt unnecessary and took away from the convenience I was expecting. My primary concern was with the vehicle itself, a Jeep Compass. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the experience with this rental. The GPS/navigation display appeared to have a positioning issue, causing the map to frequently display partially off-screen or shifted into the bottom-right corner of the display. As a visitor unfamiliar with the city, I was relying heavily on the vehicle's navigation system for visibility and accuracy so I wouldn't have to constantly look down at my phone. This issue made navigation more difficult and distracting than it should have been. Additionally, the vehicle seemed limited in its charging capabilities, which could be problematic for groups traveling together with multiple devices. While these concerns are more related to the specific vehicle than to Alamo's service, they did impact my overall rental experience. That said, the staff was courteous, and aside from the kiosk availability and vehicle concerns, my experience with Alamo was positive.`
