I already had the old battery in my hand and simply asked the associate at the front desk if they sold replacement key batteries. Instead of just answering the question, she immediately responded that they do not open keys or install the batteries — which I did not ask her to do. As I was about to show her the battery I needed to replace, she walked away from the counter mid-conversation. The store was not busy at the time; there was only one other customer being helped. The interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily rude. Customer service and basic courtesy go a long way. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I chose to walk out and will not be revisiting this location.
