    My experience at Advanced Auto Parts was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. It started early in the morning when my plumbing van was stuck in the shop with a dead battery. Since I couldn’t jump it in the shop, I went to Advanced Auto Parts to buy a battery cable to recharge it. The sales representative assured me that the cable would work but mentioned it was non-refundable, which I understood and accepted. Unfortunately, the part did not work. I ended up wasting hours and driving 30 minutes to pick up a working cable from someone I knew — losing valuable time and money because I couldn’t get to plumbing jobs. When I went back to Advanced Auto Parts to explain the situation and request a refund (or at least an exchange for a working product), the representative refused and told me to call management. I calmly explained that I respected their policy but that it didn’t make sense for a defective part to be non-refundable. I even offered to take an exchange instead of a refund. The salesperson said they would check for a replacement, then came back claiming none were in stock. However, when I later called Advanced Auto Parts Customer Service, they contacted the same store — and suddenly the store did have one in stock. At that point, it was clear that the employee had lied to me, and the entire situation had already wasted far too much of my day. This experience was disappointing, dishonest, and unprofessional. I would not recommend this location to anyone
