    I wish I could give lower than one star. After two hours of waiting I finally got them to admit they didn’t have a car for us. We ended up needing to get two cars and they charged us a ridiculous amount. I reserved and paid for a car to fit 7 people months ago. The manager was extremely rude and was trying to tell me that this was all my fault that he didn’t have a car big enough. I will never use enterprise again!!!

    I've had great experiences with Enterprise in the past, but this pickup location (miami south beach, 5th street) was terrible. Had a 10 am reservation and arrived on-time. Still had to wait over an hour. Was told repeatedly that the car was being 'finalized' would be ready in next few minutes (it wasn't). Got the impression that the reserved car was not ready and staff was just stalling. There was a waiting room full of other customers that had also checked-in, but like me, were waiting for cars to be retrieved. My reservation was upgraded to a larger vehicle (at no extra charge) because my pre-selected vehicle type was unavailable. When my car was finally brought down its fuel level was on empty. The staff member told me that I could either wait until he drove across the street to refuel, or I could take the car as is, and return it on empty. I choose the latter. Staff members were friendly, but location seemed grossly understaffed.

    It is totally a shit, we have to wait longer than 1 hour, then they told me to wait for another 1 hour and there was no grantee to have a car. Note that at the very beginning, they told us we only need to wait 30 mins. If something changes on your side, why not update to us soon. And keeping it like a secret, telling us after we asking thousands of times. The attitude is also bad. Pushing us away as long as we want to get an update. AND after all this, they refuse to refund?? What a joke. If there is a zero star option, I will choose zero.

    Aucune voiture de location disponible, Juste une façade avec deux incapables dedans. Nous avions une location de 15jours en février. Mais en faite rien n’était dispo Et Personne ne préviens du désagrément en avance, Même Pas de Voiture de remplacement. Nous avons dû retourner à l’aéroport chez un autre Loueur pour avoir un voiture. surtout ne pas aller chez Enterprise ça mérite même pas une étoile!!

    Car was not ready at appointment time because it needed an oil change. Sales guy refused to give free upgrade to a Mazda Miata which was more fuel efficient than the Jeep Wrangler of which he was only willing to offer. Knowing we were pressed by time, he said we could either pay for the higher price Mazda or take the less fuel efficient Jeep, none of them were the car we had originally booked for. He said we could wait for other cars to return to the facility and get cleaned up before he could offer the mid-size car we had originally booked for. Several Enterprise locations where I had rented a car before all offered me complimentary upgrade when the car I had booked was unavailable at pick up time. This is the reason why I like renting at Enterprise: respecting customers’ needs and compensate them according when their needs are not met by Enterprise. I definitely felt disappointed when I was told the type of car I had booked was not there and either I had to pay for an upgrade or to opt for a heavy car that would be costly on gas. I eventually got a full size car that has a caution light on the dash board that says oil change required. We all know cars that need an oil change would be less fuel efficient and it did cost us a bit more on the gas. Overall, if I could rent somewhere else, Enterprise will not be my go to place. I would not recommend this location on 5th St to anyone.
