  Confirmed and prepaid reservation, but the car was suddenly unavailable with no policy justification. The rental agente Ms. Evelin was professional and tried to help. However, the supervisor, Luis Lopez, was rude, aggressive, and intimidating TOWARDS US, repeatedly emphasizing his position as “the supervisor” and using his authority in a disrespectful way. Very poor customer service.

  This company is a scam. We rented a car, went to pick it up. There was a complete mess of people waiting for their cars, ours wasn’t ready so they gave us a different one. They make you sign the rental forms inside their building, give you the keys to go down a block and in back of the place and up to the top of a ramp to get it. We used the vehicle to get from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale. Stayed at an Airbnb where the car was parked in a garage. Used only to drive to an appointment twice where the car was not parked and left. I was dropped off. Then only driven to the airport to be dropped off. (Where the guy did a walk around and checked inside then told us we were to go) Now we get charged for a supposed scrape on a rim. They didn’t even have time to do a check of the car they ended up giving us. The lady we spoke to about this was completely rude and now we are just supposed to pay this. Terrible company!!! If you make the mistake of renting from this place make sure to take thorough videos inside and out!!!

  Prenotato 3 gg prima un piccolo suv della Mazda, ma ci hanno dato una BMW cupè a 2 porte e con bagagliaio molto piccolo. L’ho chiesta full carburante ma non lo era, ho fatto delle foto che ho consegnato al mio rientro dove io l’ho riconsegnata full, mi hanno detto che l’avrebbero scalato dal conto ma non è stato fatto. Per di più l’auto è stata riconsegnata in anticipo di4 ore circa

  I am giving one star only so I can leave a review. Here is what happened on December 25, 2025. We booked a mid-size sedan online through Booking.com and paid in full in advance. When we arrived to pick up the car, we were told that the vehicle was not available and that they could offer us an upgrade to a Mercedes C-Class. This is not our first car rental experience. We have rented cars in many countries across multiple continents, so we are very familiar with rental procedures and extra charges. I specifically asked if there would be any additional charges, and clearly stated that we would only accept the upgrade if there was not one extra penny charged. The agent at the counter, Nazif, clearly said there would be absolutely no extra charge. We completed all the paperwork and were about to sign the release when we noticed that we were being charged USD 1,644, minus the CAD 565 we had already paid online. We immediately refused to sign, did not take the car keys, and left the office. After leaving, we filed a complaint with Booking.com. They informed us that they would refund the CAD 565, but for the remaining approximately CAD 1,200, we were advised to contact Visa’s fraud department, which we did and officially filed a dispute. We strongly believe that very shady practices are happening at this location and that the staff was attempting to process unauthorized charges in a pre-arranged manner. Stay away from this company, or be extremely careful about what you are asked to sign.

  Extremely Disappointing Experience I booked and fully prepaid a car through the Sixt app in Miami. When I arrived at the rental desk to pick up the vehicle, I was told by a staff member that the car I had reserved was not available. I was then informed that my only options were: • to make a new reservation at nearly five times the price, or • to cancel my existing reservation and pay a cancellation fee. This left me stranded on a Sunday, with two young children, without any vehicle, while needing to travel four hours to another hotel. The lack of support, accountability, and basic customer care was shocking. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with any service provider. While I had heard of similar issues happening in the car rental industry, I never expected this level of unprofessionalism from a company as well-known as Sixt. I am taking this matter further and will be exploring legal options. I strongly urge anyone considering Sixt to be extremely cautious with their reservations, or to avoid this company altogether.
