Car was not ready at appointment time because it needed an oil change. Sales guy refused to give free upgrade to a Mazda Miata which was more fuel efficient than the Jeep Wrangler of which he was only willing to offer. Knowing we were pressed by time, he said we could either pay for the higher price Mazda or take the less fuel efficient Jeep, none of them were the car we had originally booked for. He said we could wait for other cars to return to the facility and get cleaned up before he could offer the mid-size car we had originally booked for. Several Enterprise locations where I had rented a car before all offered me complimentary upgrade when the car I had booked was unavailable at pick up time. This is the reason why I like renting at Enterprise: respecting customers’ needs and compensate them according when their needs are not met by Enterprise. I definitely felt disappointed when I was told the type of car I had booked was not there and either I had to pay for an upgrade or to opt for a heavy car that would be costly on gas. I eventually got a full size car that has a caution light on the dash board that says oil change required. We all know cars that need an oil change would be less fuel efficient and it did cost us a bit more on the gas. Overall, if I could rent somewhere else, Enterprise will not be my go to place. I would not recommend this location on 5th St to anyone.

We rented without having made a reservation and received a wonderful welcome from Nicholas. He spoke French, which helped us a lot as well… The car was perfect, the welcome upon return was also excellent, and we will definitely come back to this agency on our next trip to Miami without hesitation! Thank you to them!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. WORST RENTAL CAR EXPERIENCE IN HUMAN HISTORY. We had a reservation from 10am. We arrived at 10.30. We got a car at 3pm. First we were told it would be 30 min. Then that we should get something by 1.30pm. Then 3pm - which then was the case. We pretty much lost a day of our vacation because Enterprise have this bizarre system of just allowing people to reserve cars and then wait until/if a car rocks up, not giving any notice that you may be there all day (or not get a car at all). Absolute insanity. They did take off 1 day off the rate, and waived the tank, but that doesn’t really make up for a lost day of our hard earned holiday. Make sure to avoid - I wish I had read the reviews and just gone to the airport. If you have no other option, then make sure you don’t have an urgent appointment or flight dependent on renting a car from this place.

I used to be a big fan of Enterprise Rent-A-Car. My last experience with the company was terrible. I had arrived from a cruise in Ft. Lauderdale and rented the car at the airport for a week. The first day of the car rental started out OK and we stopped for lunch in Miami Beach. When we return to the car from our lunch one of the tires was flat. I contacted Enterprises roadside assistance and was told that if possible to go to the local dealer, which is located on sixth Avenue in South Miami Beach when I showed up there I was told that they didn’t have a car or any cars available the rental Assistant suggested that I try to make my way to the airport and that he would fill the tire. This was completely unsafe so there was no way that I could take the car to the airport. I continued and took an Uber to the airport so that I could get a new car with all of my luggage included in my travels dragging behind me I get to the airport and was told that because the man at the sixth Avenue location did not check in my car that they could not provide me with a new car. I contacted customer service and roadside assistance once again and was told there was nothing they could do because the location was closed. I ended up taking another Uber from there to a hotel that I had reserved approximately 30 miles away at this point I couldn’t cancel that reservation because they will charge me for the entire day stay anyway so the Uber was the only option available to me. I continue to call throughout the night and into the early morning. I finally contacted the sixth Avenue dealer and was told that they had just checked the car in but now they had cars so we returned back to this location and rented a Ford expedition. This cost me an additional $400 from the original rental fee plus a $300 deposit which I would get back upon my return of the car. In addition they charged me a $50 drop off fee back to Fort Lauderdale, which is where my flight was leaving the following week. We had a great time in Florida we did everything that we wanted to do upon returning the car in Fort Lauderdale. I was also charged for a full day rental on the car that was broken down because he didn’t check the car in on time at the sixth Avenue . Upon my return, the airport the manager gave me a discount because he asked me how my rental went. I told him it was terrible. He provided a $300 credit. I think the manager very much for the credit. I expected to get my $300 deposit back but when I called this branch location, I was told that that would happen in a couple of days. OK no problem I said. A few days goes by no deposit. I contact the manager of this location and immediately upon contacting them. I had another charge on my credit card for $250. Still no refund. I have continued to call and continue to call and at this point still no refund. Please note that this happened in October. As of now, I have just received another $50 charge from enterprise Rent-A-Car. So now I am out a total of $600 plus $50. They have lost me as a customer I will never ever rent from them again. I am so sadly disappointed. I have spoken to Customer Service. I have spoken to many people in this location and have been told there’s nothing they can do. I asked for escalation to a manager I heard nothing the worst rental car experience I’ve ever had in my life and I am a world traveler who has rented thousands of cars in my life, they will never get my business again, and I will tell everybody that I know about my experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

I rented a car from this location and it’s the worst experience I’ve had so far. SCAMMERS. They told me I would have to pay a 300$ deposit and that this would be returned a few weeks later once I’ve handed in the car. It’s been 2 months since I returned the car and I haven’t received the deposit back. I emailed Peyton and Nicholas multiple times for months now and they don’t even bother to answer. I called and said they would email me back and never did. DO NOT HIRE ANY ENTERPRISE CAR. This company and the people that work there are awful.
