WARNING DO NOT CALL THIS "BUSINESS" TO INQUIRE ABOUT ANY SIMPLE INFO-- THEY WILL HARASS YOU FOR WEEKS We previously left a review explaining how many times they called us and how unprofessional it was. After this, they have called another 10 PLUS times, including MULTIPLE times after 9pm. When I answered the phone on one evening and asked if it was an appropriate time to call a customer, he stated "well, we are still open". At 10:30 at night, how professional is that, right? These people seem like scammers, I have never in my life been contacted from a "business" in this inappropriate way, literally almost 30 phone calls. Just INSANE and I would STRONGLY advise not calling this business to attempt to find information regarding installation of an interlock blow device. They will harass you for weeks, even if you ask them to stop, all hours of the night even. Learn from our mistake of trying to reach out for simple information. If you ask to stop calling, they will hang up on you, and call back again the next day. I've never seen such an inappropriate, unprofessional and harassing "business" like this in my entire life. Warning!

We called simply to get information Thursday 3/6. After my husband advised he would communicate with me and then call back, he already felt the pushy-ness of Susan when she said OH WHAT TIME CAN I CALL YOU BACK? Comprehension can be difficult, Susan, but he said HE would call YOU back if interested. No big deal, except then she proceeded to call Friday at 10:42A, 10:43A, 3:50p, 4:20p, 7p and THEN 10 pm. Also called SUNDAY, and then today TWICE. Two separate numbers were used, but I made sure to call both back to verify they were infact intoxalock because I was seriously blasted that a company wanting our business would have the nerve to call on a Friday evening at 10pm and then a Sunday, as well. This company is close to my house and what we wanted to use, but now I will be driving to Cocoa to avoid their chaos. Ethier they really need the business or they need to get rid of Susan. When I answered and asked about calling on a Friday night she paused for a bit longer than a usual pause and said ".... No?.... **I** didn't...." Like she was trying to figure out what kind of story or lie to tell, and instead chose to blame someone else, but the call log doesn't lie, miss sales pitch. I'm gunna pass for now, thanks, but let me know if Susan leaves and I might try again 😀 just insane.

Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock

How does an interlock device work?

An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. To read more on Intoxalock, you can read our ignition interlock device guide.

What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?

The installation of an ignition interlock device, often called a car breathalyzer, typically costs between $70 and $150. This one-time fee is paid at the start of your lease and covers the service center's labor to install the device in your vehicle. Payment is made directly to the service center at the time of installation. For more on cost breakdowns, you can read our cost of ignition interlock device guide.
