  DO NOT RENT ONE WAY. Customer Sevice was THE worst today. They run you in circles telling you they have a car and ended up not providing me with one. Long story short. I booked a one way rental to SW, FL early this morning to catch a flight in SW FL later tonight. This morning at 9:30 am I went in with my confirmation code and was told there were "no cars available". You can imagine my surprise. He told me there would be one available at some point but couldn't tell me when. I let him know my situation saying I had no ride back to my hotel to check out because I had Ubered there and needed to get to SW, FL by this evening. He said he's sorry he didn't call me to tell me they didn't have anything available, but he hadn't had a chance. This was 9:45 am and they opened at 8 am. He said Budget probably had cars which was the kiosk next door. I waited about 10 min for the Budget guy to show up. He also said they had "no cars". Enterprise said I could wait because there would be a car available but he couldn't tell me when. I finally needed to get back to my hotel to check out and bought another Uber back to my hotel. Now the hotel was AWESOME- Faro Blanco Marriott. Highly suggest staying there. They extended my check out time twice today as I waited for Enterprise to call me and tried to make suggestions on other ways I could get to my destination. Unfortunately the shuttle and publuc transport has to be booked 3 hours in advance and I was trusting Enterprise to deliver the car they said would come. After talking to Enterprise Customer Service 2x (10 am and 12:30 pm). They also told me they would call when a car was available. Not until I asked to speak with a "manager" which ended up being a complaint resolution position, did I learn they had rentals but no "one way rentals" available. I asked if she could confirm yes or no that a car would be available or if I should continue to wait. All she kept telling me is that they were trying to find me a car and that she couldn't confirm either. It really is a disorganized mess that caused me a lot of stress. After I gained clarity with my 2nd call to CS about the "One Way Rental". I was very weary of the continued "we are still looking for a car for you" situation and went to book the 3 pm shuttle to at least Miami. That's when I learned it had to be booked 3 hrs in advance. Ugh. There are more concerning details, but I'll spare you those. Here I am in an Uber paying an ungodly amount to be driven to SW FL. Just want to ensure those booking one way rentals will probably not be honored. Beware! Enterprise: Just take off the one way option for Marathon so others don't get stuck in this situation. I saw other cities have taken that option out of their search criteria.

  I had put my debit card information into the prebooking system before Colten called and confirmed my reservation. He called twice once the day before and once the day of confirming that I had a car and my arrival time. I have rented cars here 3 times in the last few months on my debit card with no issues. They charge a $300 deposit and the cost of the rental. Once the car was retuned they return the deposit. When I arrived Colten was no where to be in the office. He left a note on the desk to call his cell as he was sitting in his truck. He came inside and told me he had a car for me and I gave him card and he asked me if I knew ANYONE with a credit card. He would have taken anyone’s card! He refused to rent me the car and charge the deposit as they have in the past. He blamed corporate. Their policy states All renters must have a valid driver’s license and a major credit card or debit card in their name. If using a debit card for any amounts owed, the available funds in the account associated with Renter’s debit card will be reduced by those amounts. Additionally, Renter is responsible for any overdraft fees incurred. Colten was terrible. Thanks for being rude and of no help.
