While waiting in line, another customer of the same ethnicity as the associate came in and was helped before me. The associate then told me I was next, but when another person of the same ethnicity came in, they were helped before me again. I stood there for about 15 minutes waiting, feeling completely ignored and uncomfortable. It was embarrassing, and I eventually left my items on the counter and went to a competitor AutoZone instead. No one should be made to feel like they don’t matter or aren’t welcome.
