- GCGary Casey4 days ago5.0Guy made sure to offer the military discount and installed both batteries for me. At one point he was uncertain how to disconnect the old battery and got help with online support and others in the store. Exactly as expected. Professional.
- VDVera DaughertyMar 26, 20261.0Do not buy the Die Hard batteries. Pure junk. After 18 months the battery did die. They need to change the name to “Die quickly “. And their warranty is just as bad. They will come up with an excuse not to honor it. Bought a battery off of Amazon for $178, AC Delco. Free delivery and next day. These stores need to become obsolete. Parts are cheaper on Rock Auto and you’ll get them quicker.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
