- DKDavid Kayatta3 days ago1.0I have been servicing my cars for 40 years. My experience at the Mavis Location on Walsingham in Largo Florida was nothing short of a disastrous experience. Brought in for a small leak in a Coolant hose and ended up with a car that was rendered unusable. I was told by the Regional Manager Mike that it was an old car and much like an old patient died while undergoing treatment. It would not turn on. They claimed they brought in computer specialists and could not determine why Electrical Control Unit seized. After they tried to repair for 3 weeks. After I towed car to two different shops including another Mavis Shop that had a specialist and said they knew car from prior working on it I finally found a mechanic who determined Mavis was negligent and inept and apparently did originally promised work so poorly it directly lead to car being inoperable. Two months later I have the car back after having to redo original repairs and repair the damage Mavis had done to the Electrical System. This place should be shutdown.
