- JDJ DOct 22, 20252.0I'm going to give five stars for a quick and effective and nice oil change experience at a fair price. However I would encourage you not to go here unless you really know what you are doing or you will be pushed down a path to pay a lot more money than you should on other things they try to tell you they you need to replace. I will give you three quick examples from my experience: 1) the recommended synthetic oil change interval for my 2017 Toyota Highlander is 10,000 miles. It's 5000 miles if you do a lot of towing of heavy gear, extensive idling or atypical driving. However they will try to get you to do your oil change over 3000 miles. Totally overkill and obviously to make more money. For what should be a $120 oil change every 8,000-10,000 miles for my driving circumstances it would cost me 3x that if I trust their input. 2) second is that my vehicle official maintenance schedule recommends inspecting the rear differential every 15,000 miles. According to Valvoline they say you have to replace/service it every 15,000 miles, not inspect. But in most driving scenarios it's only needed every 60,000 miles according to Toyota. It's something like $150. that's a $600 difference if you trust them and end up overservicing. 3) I got a new battery from Costco about nine months ago and it works perfectly, because it's new and this car drives 10,000 miles a year +- and is in a garage 100% of the time, but for the last several oil changes they have tried to convince me I need a new battery. The battery is great. My point is these guys are clearly on commission and whatever your car, it is going to have maintenance recommendations that they are going to turn into more aggressive Upsell angles. The most important thing you could ever have with maintaining your car is someone you trust because there's way too much you don't know and you can be taken advantage of. So if you know your maintenance schedule inside out, and mentally you are kind of halfway there to being a mechanic in your brain, and can't be tricked into spending more money then go here for an oil change. But otherwise I would find another place because it all happens fast and they are standing there right at your car telling you what you need to do and you need to make quick decisions and if you don't know what you are doing you're going to say yes to things you probably don't need. I have been here three times now but I've decided I'm done because I don't agree with their tactics. It's dishonest.
