They will harass you constantly and call you back to back if you ignore their calls. They immediately try to guilt trip you into providing your information to them when you call for a fact finding inquiry so they can most likely sell it out the backdoor if you don't do business with them. The advisors or whatever they call them are just sheisty wanna be salesman. I've never had a more negative experience with an organization than this one which came purely from trying to call and find information and then being harassed and insulted by their "advisor". These types of companies don't last long anyway, thank God. Entirely way too aggressive towards their potential clients.

Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock

How does an interlock device work?

An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?

The installation of an ignition interlock device, often called a car breathalyzer, typically costs between $70 and $150. This one-time fee is paid at the start of your lease and covers the service center's labor to install the device in your vehicle. Payment is made directly to the service center at the time of installation. For more on cost breakdowns, you can read our cost of ignition interlock device guide.
