The guy name ( Dakota) did a horrible job and didn’t even vacuum so there was glass all over my seat and floor. And when I turn on my a/c I heard glass fell through the vents and is in my a/c blower motor. So now I have a blower motor that is not working good and glass all over the place. And I got it for free bc of my insurance. But doesn’t mean not to do your job correctly. And on one side of the windshield it doesn’t even look like it is sealed all the way. So I definitely do not recommend safe life or at least not Dakota.

“BE CAREFUL” I had an extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience with Safelite AutoGlass today. I booked a windshield replacement appointment for my BMW i8 between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM. This is not a simple job, as the vehicle requires proper in-shop calibration due to its advanced systems, which is exactly why I scheduled it correctly and followed their process. I arrived at approximately 12:30 PM, well within the confirmed appointment window. Despite this, the staff, including an assistant manager named Samantha, refused to take my car. Their reasoning was that I was “technically late” because, according to them, the appointment starts exactly at 12:00 PM. That makes absolutely no sense when the confirmed time clearly states a 12:00–1:00 PM window I have to drop my car for 4 hours. What made this situation even worse was their attitude. They were not just unhelpful, they were outright rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. There was no effort to assist, no attempt to find a solution, and no respect for the customer. When I questioned their logic, instead of handling it professionally, they responded with a careless attitude that clearly showed they do not value customers or their time. This is not just poor service, it is a complete failure in basic customer respect and communication. If a business provides a time window, they should honor it. Otherwise, they should clearly state strict arrival times upfront instead of misleading customers. I took time out of my day, showed up within the scheduled timeframe, and was treated like it didn’t matter at all. That is simply unacceptable. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. There are many other companies that actually appreciate their customers and act professionally. Based on this experience, this location clearly does not.

This has to be one of the worst service places I’ve ever been to had a appointment at 1:30 pm was asked to come 10 minutes early I obliged by coming 30 minutes early At 2:45 my car still had not moved out of the parking lot. When I asked the lady behind the desk she seemed surprised that it was still sitting there. Then a technician came up to me and said he was taking the car in which I said no just give me the keys and I am going to leave. Then I was told that we are short technicians and the recalibration machine was not working ,which I replied that’s your problem not mine. I drove 1 1/2 hrs one way for this appointment. I would highly not recommend this place for work on your vehicle

Extremely dissatisfied with the service I received here. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OUTSIDE OF AN INSURANCE CLAIM!!! I had to have my driver side window replaced, paid for the service in full ahead of time. Technician comes out, tells me he cant replace my window, due to the regulator being bad, and told me I would need to reschedule and have them come out and replace to regulator, in order to replace the window. So, I scheduled another appointment, and the tech came back out with a regulator and the window. Tech replaced the regulator and window, but the regulator was "faulty" and did not function. They attempted to charge me an extra $150 for the original window and service that I had already paid in full, due to the "sale ending" from my original purchase, so now the window I already purchased had gone up in price... How is that even legal, again this balance was already paid in full originally?? I already paid for the window, yall were just storing it until my next appointment.... So, fast forward, the tech told me that he still put the faulty regulator in, and replaced the window and told me not to roll down the window. Tech stated I would have to schedule another appointment for them to come back out and replace the faulty regulator, the tech at the time, told me with having paid for the service I just paid for, I would owe nothing on my next appointment. Surprise, next scheduled appointment and they are asking for another $250 to replace the faulty regulator they installed. All in all, it cost me almost $1,000.00 to replace a driver side window and a faulty regulator. After complaining to corporate, they gave me a $100.00 off my service, totaling almost $900. Not to mention, on my last service, the tech took photos of my vehicle AFTER the service, and I noticed scratches on my vehicle... When i called to complain, corporate said "I have the photo proof here that those scratches were already there"... AGAIN BE WARNED AND STAY FAR AWAY IF DOING SERVICE OUTSIDE OF A INSURANCE CLAIM!

Extremely disappointed with Safelite. I was originally given a service window between 12 PM and 5 PM on a Saturday. I rearranged my entire day to be available. It went past 5 PM — no technician, no call, no text, no ETA. Nothing. Trying to reach someone was nearly impossible. There is zero phone support! Everything is routed through AI systems that send you back to the website in circles. After significant effort, I finally got through to someone via text. They then scheduled me for a 6:00 AM appointment at the local shop the next morning. I showed up at 6:00 AM sharp — and the building was completely dark and locked. No lights on, no one at the front. I walked around back and fortunately found a very helpful shop employee who let me in. After speaking with him, he informed me that my glass was actually still with the technician who was working in a completely different region that day. So the 6:00 AM appointment should never have been scheduled in the first place. He suggested I come back at 2:00 PM, which I did. The windshield was eventually replaced successfully — that’s the only positive part of this experience. Given everything that transpired, I requested to speak with a district manager and also emailed the store manager. So far, no response. When I called the corporate office around 3:00 PM EST, I was told it was outside of their working hours. To make matters worse, I was not given a receipt when I left. I was told the invoice would process the next day and I would receive it then. However, when I checked my bank account, I saw the charge was more than double what was agreed upon. I immediately tried calling again — and once again, could not get anyone. Good news: the windshield is replaced. Bad news: the entire process was chaotic, poorly communicated, and I was charged more than what was agreed to. This level of disorganization and lack of accountability is unacceptable. I’m still waiting for someone in management to return my call and correct the billing issue. I hope Safelite makes this right. Until then, this has been one of the most frustrating service experiences I’ve had.
