Inquired from out of state about an Acura that was advertised by lake city at a great price. I was sent a quote that added almost $6,000 (excluding tax title and license) to the total purchase price. Description of the added costs were very vague, and I was told the were mandatory. Sales manager was very rude and insulting. If you’re going to buy from lake city Honda just add about $7k to their advertised price.

I originally left a very different review based on a difficult experience I had after purchasing a 2021 Widebody Scat Pack back in December. The vehicle had significant issues almost immediately, and the process that followed was long, frustrating, and at times overwhelming. I dealt with extended downtime, unexpected repairs, and a situation that felt unresolved for far too long. It caused a lot of inconvenience and financial stress, and at that point, I truly did not think I would ever do business here again.
However, I am updating my review because the current leadership team—specifically Steve (General Manager) and Luis—completely stepped in and turned things around. They took the time to fully understand everything I had been through, remained transparent with me throughout the process, and most importantly, took real accountability in making the situation right.
Steve stayed in consistent communication, worked through multiple options, and made sure there was a clear path toward a resolution. Luis also played a key role in making the process smooth on-site and ensuring everything was handled professionally. Together, they showed a level of effort and commitment that genuinely restored my confidence.
In the end, they were able to get me into a ZL1 on a great deal, and I’m extremely satisfied with the outcome. What stood out the most was that they didn’t ignore the past—they addressed it, worked through it, and made sure I left in a much better position.
While my initial experience was challenging, the way Steve and Luis handled the resolution speaks volumes about their leadership and dedication to customer satisfaction. I truly appreciate the effort they put in to make this right.
