    I had a great experience with the Safelite technician. He was amazing—very polite, professional, and efficient. He got the job done quickly without cutting corners and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. He also followed through on everything he said he would do, which I really appreciated. Excellent service all around!

    I brought my car in today at 2pm. It is now 7:40pm and yes they replaced the windshield, but they did not recalibrate my eyesight cameras. 5.5 hours later and the full service was not completed. No one said anything to my husband who was waiting in the waiting area. The front people left and he could not find anyone to get an update. An hour later he spoke with someone and they said the calibration still wasn’t done. At this point my husband just asked for our car back. Again the full service was not completed. I now have to bring my car to the dealership to have my cameras fixed due to Safelite not completing the job. To your response. You did not tell us it couldn’t be done nor did you refer us anywhere. We asked for our car back and told you we would be taking it elsewhere. You weren’t giving us answers on why it was taking so long. There was 0 communication on the progress and you wasted a lot of our time. If you would communicate better with your customers than it would be less of an issue. To tell us 2-4 hours and instead have us sit there for 5.5 hours without communicating is ridiculous and inconsiderate.

    Excellent experience overall. Unfortunately my area isn't in their mobile service area, so I made an appointment at the shop. They got me in and out quickly and everyone I interacted with was so friendly and professional. I want to especially call out Shawntez for his assistance when I was having trouble getting insurance sorted out. Both the insurance agent and I were very frustrated and he had to deal with some unfair rudeness, and just remained so calm, kind and steady, and I'm very grateful his help! My technician, Harold, also did a great job (at least everything seems great so far from the drive home! 🙂), and they'd clearly cleaned my embarrassingly dusty dashboard thoroughly, as well. Would recommend their service to anyone!

    Here is the revised version with an added closing paragraph: --- A representative initially assisted me with a damage claim, and I had an appointment scheduled for an in-person inspection of my vehicle. I was later contacted by Safelite and provided with an employee’s personal phone number so I could send photos of the cowl to ensure the correct part was ordered. During the windshield replacement process, there were multiple failed appointments due to faulty glass being sent three separate times. On the final attempt, the technician caused additional damage to my vehicle. A subsequent technician, who came to replace trim that had been improperly glued on with a black adhesive, informed me that the damage was likely due to the previous technician’s failure to follow proper procedure. He explained that he had seen similar damage before when technicians did not remove the windshield wipers and cowl as required, and that failing to do so can result in the rubber on the cowl being torn away when cutting the windshield adhesive. After attempting multiple times over the course of a week to contact the provided number for an update on replacing the damaged cowl—and to address a new windshield issue after another rock impact—I received no response. I then contacted the main customer service line, where I was told the representative had to call the local store five times before getting an answer. I was ultimately informed that I had never been told the cowl would be replaced and that the damage was considered pre-existing. However, only part of the rubber was missing prior to service, and the additional damage clearly occurred during the windshield replacement process, as confirmed by another technician. Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. The repeated scheduling failures, lack of communication, conflicting information, and additional damage caused to my vehicle have resulted in a significant loss of time and confidence in the service provided. What should have been a straightforward repair turned into an ongoing issue that has yet to be properly resolved.

From the moment he arrived, Willie was energetic, professional, and incredibly friendly. He took the time to thoroughly explain the entire windshield replacement process so I knew exactly what to expect, which I really appreciated. His attention to detail and workmanship were outstanding, and it was clear he takes real pride in doing the job right. The installation was completed smoothly and efficiently, and he made sure everything was perfect before finishing up. Safelite is very fortunate to have someone like Willie on their team.
