    Crowded rental process and had extremely rude service at the other companies. Had a rental that was not available upon arrival. Walked over to Alamo and Jessie was able to not only help us - she treated us with such compassion. Got a car and got on our way. Thank you Alamo for keeping great employees!

    As usual, I am verified satisfied with Alamo Car Rental. The check-in in Key West and the car return in Miami were both smooth and easy. We got a brand new car with good amenities.

    No Full Size Cars for my reservation, which I made 3 months in advance. Very poor employee communication with me. Had to go back 2 days later to get a larger Jeep to replace the very small Mazda 3, they gave me.

    I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Alamo Rent A Car at the Miami S Beach Collins location (4332 Collins Ave, Miami Beach). I specifically reserved a Mustang Convertible for our trip. Upon arrival, the vehicle was not available and we were given a Toyota pickup instead. We were instructed by staff to drive to Key West and exchange the vehicle there. Unfortunately, when we arrived in Key West, the convertible was again unavailable. Since then, I have sent multiple follow-up emails requesting either the reserved vehicle or a reasonable rate adjustment reflecting the difference in vehicle class. To date, I have not received a proper resolution. I understand that availability issues can happen, but when a specific vehicle class is confirmed at booking, customers reasonably expect that commitment to be honored — or at minimum fairly compensated when it is not. The lack of proactive communication and failure to provide a clear solution has been very disappointing and has negatively impacted our trip experience. I hope management reviews this matter seriously and improves how confirmed reservations are handled in the future.

    Last month, me and my 8 year old daughter arrived in Key West for a min vacation. Typically, I book with Avis or Hertz. This was my first time with Alamo and what a mistake it was. To say the workers are unprofessional is an understatement. Arriving at the counter, I was asked by an employee for my personal car insurance company name. I asked why I need to provide that, I hadn't had to do that before. She became extremely aggressive. She said "you hear me asking everyone else in the line, why didn't you just get out of line". I was shocked, I told her that I never had to give that information before. She then when into what I can only describe as a rehearsed routing between her and the manager. She said, "why are you giving me so much attitude. I wasn't. She then called the manager. She told him I was giving her attitude which wasn't true. I even told them my insurance company in the hopes it would resolve the situation. The manager took over and kept using the same statement over and over again no matter what I said. "why are you giving me so much attitude." Now when he said it, he would yell it at me. After 3 times, I turned and looked at my daughter who was no crying. This is when I knew that I wasn't dealing with bad customer service. But instead, a child abuser. When I turned and looked back, he was now smiling and made no hesitation in continuing his verbal assault. What kind of person likes making an 8 year old cry. I immediately grabbed my daughter and left. We walked over the AVIS counter and it was the completely opposite. The AVIS employee was new and had trouble getting our information in the computer. But she immediately could tell my daughter had been crying. She showed complete compassion. AVIS was great, got us in the car that was a good fit for us. The AVIS employee should be commended for her outstanding customer service.
