It was WAY beyond my ability and strength to install this large battery. George handled the job efficiently, professionally and super fast. He was friendly and gave me confidence from the moment I entered the store he would do the job correctly. George even installed a protective cover over the battery which I never understood what it was for. He did a great job all the way around and made me happy. There are several broken, inoperable vehicles permanently parked on the property, people sleeping in their cars, and two mobile mechanic trucks running a full-time operation behind the store. The noise is constant—generators, tools, and loud music every day. It feels less like a retail store and more like an unregulated auto yard. If these mechanics are “mobile,” it makes no sense for them to operate a stationary business behind the building. This is a quiet, well-kept neighborhood, and allowing this kind of activity shows a complete lack of consideration for nearby residents. Corporate needs to step in and address what’s happening here.
- DQDanny QuirozDec 21, 20251.0This is terrible, it's Sunday, December 21st, and it's 9:14 AM. They haven't opened yet, and the guy is inside, he just doesn't want to open. It's unbelievable. I don't know the guy's name, I don't have it, but he opened the door super late and wouldn't let us into the store. There are about 10 of us outside waiting to get in, and nothing, we still don't know anything. It's already 20 minutes late and he's inside the store.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
