This is not only the first time; more like the second or third That staff has been disrespectful.. So, unfortunately we lost our home in a hurricane and currently stay in a travel trailer. Well,l balancing running a business all over the country and coming home puts a lot on our shoulders Etc. So when the propane ran out I said why not and went into town to use my driver shower credits that I have paid for by being a loyal customer. I was literally utterly taken aback at how rudely I was treated with disrespect. Okay, I tried waiting for almost 20 minutes for the water to finally heat up and it did not. So then I turned it back on and let it run for a good 5 minutes or so just to see if maybe it needed time. Hadn't been used in a little bit? I don't know. I'm not a plumber. But I guess it takes a plumber.... I walked up to the front counter while staff was scrolling through his phone and said excuse me multiple times to finally get his attention to look up from his phone as if I just sentenced him to a lifelong of servitude. I asked him..." Is there something wrong with the hot water? Or is there something I need to do?" And he literally blankly looked at me and then said "what do you mean?" I said..... "There's just no hot water. Luckily I'm not in route for business so I have time if I need to wait or something." He looked me dead in the eyes and said "yeah, that's how hot water heaters work. Don't you know that?!" I was so taken aback. I could not even rebuttal. I literally just walked away and went and took my less than lukewarm shower. Not once did he offer a remedy or even offer to reimburse my shower credit. He literally said what he needed to say to get his sarcastic remark off and then walked away. I was looking to try and get his name tagged but after A while Of walking around the store after I got done with the shower. I figured that they might call the police on me thinking I was trying to cause issues. So I left and here I am. I run a business. Customer service and I'm sorry to say, But ESPECIALLY for the professional drivers who literally keep you in business; Should be better.
