- TStracey SanniDec 11, 20251.0I had a very disappointing experience with this Valvoline location. On October 19th, the staff mishandled my skid plate during an oil change. The store manager tried to “fix” it a few days later, but the repair didn’t hold. While driving on the highway for a road trip, the skid plate came loose again and started dragging. I had to stop at another Valvoline out of state, where they temporarily secured it with a zip tie and advised me to file a claim for a proper replacement when I returned to Florida. Today, I went back to this location to redeem the free oil change the manager originally promised me due to their mistake. I also planned to file the claim for the damaged skid plate. The manager suddenly told me I could only choose one — either the oil change or the claim — which was never explained before. When I told him I still wanted the oil change and would handle the claim with corporate, he refused and said I had to go entirely through corporate for everything. This was extremely frustrating, unprofessional, and felt like they were backtracking on their own promise. I’ve wasted time, money, and had to deal with unsafe driving conditions because of their poor workmanship. I would not recommend this location to anyone.
