  This was my first time coming to Valvoline. Krishawn helped me. He explained everything well and recommended a fee other things I needed. My oil change was smooth and Krishawn updated me the entire time. Krishawn, Juan, and Matthew are amazing! I will be coming back!

  Called ahead to make sure my oil filter was in stock because it’s a weird one for Toyota. They promptly got me the info and needed and were ready for me when I arrived a few minutes later. Best oil change experience I’ve had. I mostly dealt with Do, but all employees were very professional and kind. They offered information and services without being weird or pushy to where I will actually come back to get them done here. They were also so sweet to my two year old that was with me. All of that being said, I will stop avoiding oil changes and actually take care of my car because this was such a good experience. I will definitely be back.

  They got my car in for an oil change right at closing and completely changed the whole tone of my night for the better after the first place I tried cancelled my appointment with no notice. Very professional and very efficient, I’ll definitely try to give them my business as much as possible!

  On the day of my oil change at the Valvoline Instant Oil Change, 4506 San Juan Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32210, a loud cracking noise was heard by everyone present. At no time did the technician advise me that any damage had occurred, and I was allowed to leave the facility without warning. I drove to and from Orlando to spend Thanksgiving with family. Because I noticed a strong smell of burnt oil and smoke coming from my vehicle, I took my vehicle to the dealership for inspection. I was informed that my vehicle had no oil and my oil filter housing was cracked. I left my vehicle there so that no further damage would occur. I immediately returned to the Valvoline location and spoke with the same employee who was present during the service. He confirmed that the loud noise heard that day was the moment the housing cracked. I then filed a claim with your corporate office. My claim was denied on the basis that this type of housing is known to crack on my vehicle model. If this is indeed a known issue, that further raises concern as to why I was not informed at the time the damage occurred. The appropriate and responsible action would have been to notify me immediately instead of allowing me to drive away with a damaged component, which could have caused further mechanical failure or safety hazards. Instead, your technicians failed to disclose the damage, which I consider deceitful and highly unprofessional. Allowing a customer to leave without being informed of known damage is deceptive and demonstrates extremely poor business practices. Your corporate office’s denial of this claim further reinforces a lack of accountability for technician error and customer safety and further reinforces my concern. Due to this experience, I will not recommend or support Valvoline services in the future.
