- FFF.CDec 18, 20251.0We just brought a brand new car and took it to Tint World at 1740 Cocoanut Rd STE 104, Jacksonville, FL 32224 four weeks ago, to have all windows including the windshield tinted. Since it is a brand new car, the windshield was without any damages and blemishes. When we picked up the car after the service at Tint world, there were a lot of bubbles and creases/debris/lines, especially on the windshield and two front windows. Tint world staff stated those were normal and will disappear in a few weeks. Four weeks later, there were still a lot air bubbles and lines. Two straight lines on the inside of windshield were especially bothersome while driving. We were out of town for a couple weeks. Upon returning, we had an appointment with our car dealer to check the windshield for a tiny chip on the outside. The dealer service person did a thorough inspection of it and told us that those inside lines underneath the tint film are in fact cracks and the whole windshield was replaced for safety purposes. Tint world did a very terrible jobs with price tag over two thousand dollars. When we returned to Tint World for the warranty repair, we were told that they will not replace the windshield film because they said the warranty doesn’t cover it. Very bad and disappointing experience with this Tint World location.

I'm not sure if more formed over time, but now I've come to notice how many small bubbles are in the tint. Really my biggest concern about the job was that I had OVERLY expressed this concern. That I've seen people get their windows tinted and somehow after, have a sagging headliner. I mentioned this as a big concern to the company and manager. They told me absolutely NOT to worry as that wouldnt be an issue. Get the car back, headliner fully sagging.. no refund, no resolution, just "oh thats a coincidence, it wasnt from us." (Cost over $1k to fix, BTW) And that isn't mentioning the fact that the tint job was $1k, and they broke another plastic piece too. Do not go here for Tint. Huge rip-off. Now I'm over $2k into tint and headliner and the tint still is sub par.. Thank you Tint World!
