  Would recommend avoiding SIXT at all costs! We had a light go out on one of the rear tail lights - and we mentioned this to the return agent upon our return to J'ville. Imagine our surprise when we later got a bill demanding over $700 for this 'damage'. This was a bulb that went out! This is a maintenance issue not a damage issue. Oh - and they wanted an additional $225 for admin charges. You've been warned.

  The car I was given was in odd condition. Issue with one of the front sensors from a previous rental. Made the vehicle believe that there was an object there when there was nothing. It also forced the car into a “limp mode” as a safety precaution as to not hit this “invisible/false perceived” obstacle. Otherwise decent vehicle - 25-26 Mercedes Benz E300. I’m leaving this review for Tatyana - who works in drop off. SHE DESERVES 5 STARS! Very polite, very welcoming, and very professional. The drop off was the best part of the rental experience. Thank you Tatyana for being awesome!

  Rented from Sixt and received a false damage report for a hole in a tire. Please tell me where there is a hole. Is the tire flat? This is the picture you provided. I had to return the rental after hours as I had an early flight so I just had to drop the keys. I will be contacting the BBB and will take legal action. After further research it seems Sixt is known for false damage claims. I never thought I’d be someone to leave this type of review but here we are! PS I adjusted the brightness on your poor quality picture to further prove there is no damage. Included that photo as well.

  First time visiting Jacksonville and using Sixt. I had no issues whatsoever. They were easy to find, check-in was easy, and the car was perfect. My only complaint is for any rental car company. Most contracts say to inspect your car before you leave but it's hard when they're in a dark parking garage. My one highlight was when I returned the rental and met Ruth. She was so positive and cheerful putting a smile on the end of our trip!

  Dropped off my rental vehicle. I walked the vehicle with the agent. Neither of us saw any issues. She asked me to sign the document stating there was no damage. Several day later they are stating there is some paint damage. There was absolutely no damage when the vehicle was left and checked. The photo they sent is pretty large and would have been noticed immediately at drop off. This is terrible service and a blatant lie. I'm presuming one of their employees damaged this and they are trying to cover it up.
