Safelite is a great company. The technician is very experienced in handling my case. It was quick and easy process. The job I got was excellent and the wait was reasonable. My insurance agent was excellent in handling my situation and he also made the appointment to Safelite. I didn't lift a finger and my windshield was taking care of in no time. I appreciate everyone's efforts to make things happen and they did all an excellent job. ❤️👍😉

Had a crack on my windshield. Scheduling an appointment was pretty easy and was notified with any changes to my appointment and who would be showing up for my appointment. The technician came earlier than my scheduled appointment since I was available which was great. Love the convenience of them coming to my house to fix my windshield.

Recommendation: Get an online quote from Safelite, and then call Orange Blossom Auto Glass and politely insist that they match the Safelite quote. Again, be polite, but insistent - Orange Blossom will start out with a ridiculously high quote (assuming you're self-pay), but if you're nice, they'll have to "check with their manager" and then match Safelite. Restated, AVOID Safelite - don't know what happened to Safelite, I've had two positive windshield replacements in the past, but my most recent experience has been HORRIBLE. Got an online quote for Parts and Labor of $267 or $277 (don't recall the exact amount), but when I went to check out that same line item jumped to $308 plus tax, plus a recycle fee, minus the online discount code amount for a total of $325 out the door. While this may sound cheap, it's a no-antenna, no-special-feature, basic windshield for a 2002 pickup truck - literally one of the least expensive and common windshields on the market. It was the fact that the Safelite price mysteriously jumped from the $267 (or $277) to $308 on an apples-to-apples basis that caused me to shop and find Orange Blossom Auto Glass. Further, I reached out to Safelite via their "contact" form and never got a response. I then tried multiple attempts to contact Safelite by phone with no success - the local number doesn't work - literally hangs up after two rings, and the national customer service number now goes into an infinite loop attempting to sell senior citizen insurance products! My guess is that Safelite has been "rolled up" by private equity, and like the majority of private equity deals, the first move by leadership is to screw the customer. Naturally, this is speculation on my part. The only FACTUAL thing is my strong recommendation to avoid Safelite.

I was scheduled for 1PM to have my Tesla Y windshield replaced. As I was running late, and it's a 40 minute drive from my house, I tried to call twice. Once at 12:50 and once at 1:05. Nobody picked the phone up. I arrived at 1:20 which was 5 minutes behond the grace period. Heather the manager was very unfriendly making it clear I lost my spot and they would try to work it into the schedule having to leave the car and pick it up at the end of the day. As this would mean 2 x 40 minute Uber ride I suggested to wait. She declined stating that I was late. If they would have picked up the phone, I would have rescheduled for another day, if they weren't able to help. This is very upsetting as now I have to go back home which is another 40 minute trip. I DO NOT recommend Safelite as there's no customer service.

Had service scheduled for windshield replacement and calibration. The tech came and replaced the windshield, claimed the recalibration was complete and my first drive afterwards there is an error on the dash stating, "Auto Emergency Braking (AEB) Limited Functionality". I call the warranty line, and Cedric comes out a few days later to fix it. He lets me know it registered as successful but as soon as he drove it the error came back. Said he spent some time troubleshooting with his manager and their team and that I could take it into Jeep but there is a low probability that they will work on it since it is not a factory windshield. He said because of that, they were going to get together on a plan of action and follow up with me on Monday. Monday goes by, no call - same for Tuesday (looks like this is a recurring thing in other reviews as well). Today I call and Josh, the assistant manager seemed to have zero knowledge of the situation and placed the responsibility to get it fixed in my hands. Telling me to take time out of my day to take it into Jeep and also telling me it was a "pre-existing" issue, which is a blatant lie since this error was not present when the first tech came. I mentioned to him (at least twice) that this is the point of a warranty, sometimes things don't go as planned and now they need to be fixed. Now that I think about it more, that is ALSO why they take it for a drive afterwards. To ensure that the recalibration success message is legitimate and no errors pop-up. I will be taking this to the BBB as customer care is absolutely useless and just transfers you back to the store.
