I took the car for A service to the dealership, which included change of wiper blades etc among other items costing more than 900 dollars. However when I asked to check why my front wipers would turn on when I gave an indicator to turn to the right. To my utter frustration, I was told that would require diagnostic fee of 250 plus dollars. I did not to do this check at the dealership. I made an appointment to get this checked at “ world Imports “ on Beach blvd at 9 am today for a diagnostic fee of around 180 dollars. I took the car and after listening to me the gentleman sat on the drivers seat and told me that probably the only reason this could happen is that I was accidentally hitting the wiper button when indicating to turn to the right. He asked me to try doing this again by driving around the block, which I did. To my absolute amazement he was right, I was accidentally subtly pressing on the wiper button on giving the indicator to turn to the right. The “problem “ was solved by this knowledgeable tech by listening to the problem. Another unbelievable experience I had is that when I insisted on paying the diagnostic fee for this appointment, he declined!

I picked up my car yesterday after almost a week in your care. Unfortunately, I received it back in very poor condition. The vehicle was extremely dirty both inside and outside. After spending nearly $3,600 on repairs, I was disappointed that there was not even the basic courtesy of cleaning the car before returning it to me. This experience has been very disappointing. I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.

We went there to make an appointment for our windshield to be replaced. Since we were already there we decided to let them look at the armrest lock. The lock would open the armrest at given times especially if we pressed it firmly. We were told that it was covered under warranty and it would take one hour and a half. We said ok. After receiving a video of our armrest being taken apart and waiting the entire hour and a half. We were presented with an invoice of about $ 1800.00 stating it was not under warranty because they saw some sticky residue around the lock. To say the least we were livid. Evidently something could have broken down in the lock housing causing said residue. There’s nothing on top or around the armrest displaying any type of damage or spillage on our part. They were getting ready to close therefore we left disappointed ☹️. We are elderly. We’re very careful with our automobiles and we felt insulted by the thought that we would ask them to fix something that we damaged. We would never do that and sit for almost two hours. Elderly we are crazy we’re not. The catch is still difficult to open. Not satisfied.

Update: thank you for the reply, Jackson, but I've called multiple times and left messages for you, per your request below. I'd appreciate a call back if you're seriously concerned about my negative experience at the dealership. I recently purchased a used Mercedes from this dealership in November 2025. While the staff were friendly and welcoming, the service I received was disappointing. During the test drive i mentioned a weird vibration and a service light that cane on, and I was assured that the car would be thoroughly inspected before I took it home. I asked multiple times if the car was safe to drive and if there were any other issues, and I was told that everything was fine. I also asked if the car was certified and I was told that although the car wasn't certified, it had gone through the Mercedes certification process, which I was told was the same as having it certified, just without the extra cost to call it that. Additionally, I was informed that the brakes had been replaced in September. Despite these assurances, I started to notice that the car's performance was not as smooth as it should be, so I made an appointment to have it checked out, less than 3 months after I purchased the car. The service rep informed me that the front breaks needed to be replaced immediately, as well as the two front tires and presented me with a bill for ovee $2000. I was shocked and disappointed by this news., especially given the assurances I had received when I purchased the car. I mentioned my concerns to the service rep, but was told me her hands were tied and there was nothing she could do. She offered to let me speak with someone in sales but I was so frustrated that I paid the bill and decided that I would never bring the car back to them for services not covered under the warranty. To add insult to injury, I later received a quote from a certified Mercedes mechanic for the same brake service, and it was half the price the dealership charged me. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I had previously been driving a Mini Cooper for 7 years and was hesitant to give it up. However, my parents, who both own a Mercedes convinced me that the Mercedes would be a better choice. They also convinced me that Mercedes is reliable and that the service would be exceptional. However, given the assurances I received my experience with the service has been a major letdown. The fact that I had to spend an additional $2000 on repairs just a few months after purchasing the car is a blow. Ive come to realize that Mercedes may be a good car but the service I received did not live up to the brands reputation.
