  Have great service! Got in quick an easy with my appointment online. Paul the store manager was awesome and took care of everything. Gave me a great deal and made sure everything was taken care of and went smoothly. Great prices and the staff made it a very smooth process and took care of my vehicle and me. Highly recommend this location and getting service done here

  The employees here are amazing! I went to Take 5 for an oil change and they stripped my oil filter cap and basically said they can't do anything for me. I called Mavis and Adom said to bring the car in and he will look at it. Adom was able to get the cap off and put in a new oil filter and topped off my oil! They are very kind here and I would definitely recommend anyone to come get their vehicle serviced here! Thank you guys so much for helping me!

  I've gone to plenty of other tire places in the past, and no matches the prices and service i received at Mavis Tires & Brakes. The location on beach blvd was absolutely outstanding. They will continue to keep my business from here forward.

  WORST PLACE EVER!!! I use to take my car there when Ray was the GM. I brought my car in for an oil change, when i walked i asked if ray was still the manager in which i was told no, he opened his own shop but wouldnt tell me where. they called to let me know that my shocks were blown and leaking oil as well as my front brakes were uneven due to brake oil leaking on them. The lady on the phone told me if I went there she could show me the leaking oil and un even brakes. They then quoted me 1700 dollars to fix it. I told them no just to do the oil change. For reference I just got all new shocks 6 months ago. When I got home I checked my shocks and there was not a drip of oil on them. I also have parked in the same spot every day and there has been no oil on the ground. Still at that point I was worried and went and found Ray’s Auto shop just down the road off 3rd street. I dropped off my car for them to look at it. They called me back to inform me that my shocks are in perfect condition and that my brakes in the front do not have any uneven ware on them and have plenty of life. They are trying to suck money out of me because im a 22 year old girl. Disgusting!!! take your money 10 mins down the road!

  I was delighted with the service I received on my recent visit. Paul was extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. He listened fully to my description of the problem, had a mechanic inspect the car right away, and it was diagnosed within just a few minutes (it turned out to be a faulty wheel bearing). He came over promptly and explained the work required and the cost and said it could be done that afternoon even though some of the parts were at an offsite warehouse; they were being delivered that same afternoon so as not to delay the work. I asked him a few minutes later if he could add on some other work I knew needed to be done (replacing the brakes). He had a mechanic immediately inspect the car to verify if they did in fact need replacing, and he confirmed they did. He gave me a break on the labor since part of the wheel assembly was already being disassembled anyway. He said there was no reason for me to pay extra for unnecessary labor, and he even found an online coupon that gave me an extra discount for the service. My car ran well after I got it back on the road later that day; the loud noise from the bearing was gone and the brakes worked well. While I was there, I observed Paul offer to cover the cost of a botched repair job that one of his prior customers had at a competitor. I heard him say that the other store was lying to her about the size and scope of the problem and he said, "We will take care of that for you because that is not right." Needless to say, I was impressed with the honesty and quality of service from Paul and the team at Mavis and will not hesitate to return in the future or recommend them to others. Thanks for the great experience!
