Great customer service and they do great work. No problem and very little wait time. I would recommend to anyone to bring their car here if you need tires or a checkup

Extremely professional, friendly and courteous customer service. Gary was great on the phone and got me in promptly with a nail in my tire. Patched it for $30 in about 30 minutes when 3 other places I called said it would take 3-4 hours! 2 things to improve on: no paper towels in men’s room and tire pressures weren’t all set to same psi but I’m still giving 5 stars. Keep up the great work Gary and Margaret; I would hire you immediately if I could.

The store manager, Bernie, is dishonest and unwilling to admit fault or apologize for unsatisfactory (and UNSAFE) work. I took my truck to Mavis in early January for a wheel alignment after new suspension and upper control arms were installed (by others). It took a month to realize that Mavis never torqued the bolts and that they had reached the point where they could be unscrewed by hand. This was only finally noticed when diagnosing intermittent noise, which turned out to be the upper control arm shifting around. Called Mavis - they asked me to tighten the bolts and bring the vehicle back to them. I brought the truck back to Mavis this past Saturday for a round 2 attempt. Bernie had a wild story of how this is "natural" to occur before even looking at the vehicle. No, Bernie, it is not natural for bolts to come loose. It is not natural for a critical component of keeping a wheel safely in line and on the vehicle to come loose. It is not natural for a vehicle to be out of alignment after paying for an alignment. Per Google: "If an upper control arm comes loose, the wheel loses its top support, leading to severe instability, massive misalignment (extreme camber), and, if completely detached, the wheel can fold outward or fall off. This causes immediate, dangerous loss of steering, intense vibrations, and a loud, clunking noise." Per Bernie: 1. "Bolts come loose due to thermal expansion when they are torched to get them off". No, torching did not occur and was not needed. 2. "This happens from time to time". No, I never realized I needed to carry a wrench in my vehicle to keep the bolts tight. 3. "Those are new upper control arms since our alignment". No, they were there the first time, and your shop admired the install. 4. "We test drive every vehicle after an alignment" - you consider a test drive from the alignment rack to the parking spot at the front? 5. "After the test drive, we check/torque the bolts" - clearly not. And many many more circles and excuses. How about, maybe your tech didn't torque the bolts the first time? And a sorry, this is unacceptable? After the realignment, Bernie was conveniently absent on lunch, and I was "good to go". No test drive or 2nd check, again... On my way out, I spoke with the technician who completed the alignment and asked him how it went - "the alignment was WAY out and many bolts were finger tight". Great, I drove around on brand new tires for a month with an improper alignment creating improper wear. When I inquired about how this could have happened, he said, "I'm not sure, I'm not an alignment tech". Wait, a non-certified alignment tech completed my alignment?? This is not the tech's fault as he is just trying to get the job done at the best of his ability, this is a severe fault in leadership. If you don't have a tech at the shop qualified to do alignments, DON'T DO ALIGNMENTS. Took the truck home and checked the bolts, guess what - the bolts were nowhere near the torque spec. Taking the truck to another shop for a 3rd alignment.

This particular Mavis Tires & Brakes has been a lifesaver for me on multiple occasions. In the past I have walked in without an appointment and although it was evident they had multiple other customers, they kindly took the time to service me same day by replacing tires after I had a scary blow out and was driving on a spare. Today, they quickly repaired a tire for me for a mere $29 when during a routine oil change, the dealership was trying to charge me $259 to completely replace the tire after not even being able to give me any details about which tire even needed replacing. I knew immediately where to come to know I would not be taken advantage of. I have also previously driven through and the techs have checked air pressure and filled tires for me completely complimentary. Gary and the staff are kind and trustworthy! For all your tire and brake needs, this Mavis is highly recommended!
