Incident Report: Negligent Service and Unresolved Damages
On July 26, my vehicle received an oil change at the Mavis Discount Tire location at Village Lake Circle. The technician responsible negligently failed to secure the engine's valve cover cap.
Initial Damage: This oversight caused oil to spray throughout the engine compartment and leak onto my driveway, resulting in significant stains.
Insufficient Remediation: I returned the vehicle to Mavis. They performed a second oil change and attempted a superficial cleanup of the engine bay with degreaser. This was inadequate; residual oil continued to drip for two weeks.
Manager Response: The local manager refused to accept responsibility for the driveway stains, directing me to the corporate office.
Corporate Inaction: I promptly contacted the corporate office and provided an estimate for professional stain removal. Despite multiple follow-up calls, I have received no action, resolution, or reimbursement for the damages caused by their negligence.
I am requesting full compensation for the cost of repairing my driveway and any potential long-term engine damage caused by this oversight.

Was a great location until they decided not to accept customer oil for oil changes, the funny thing is that even corporate says they have to accept it unless the oil is mismatched to the vehicle. Lost a customer that has 3 vehicles and has been coming here for years.

We came from out of town after running over a dead deer on the road in our little 2011 Camry ;( They were able to take us as a walk in, lift up our car, and check everything out! They even took us in the garage and showed us our underbelly and what may have been making noise. Paul and Joey were SO nice, patient and thorough. I really appreciate them taking their time to check things out for us in their busy schedule and they didn’t even charge us anything 🥹🫶 We love Mavis

I have an Allstate Tire and Wheel Protection Plan, and I decided to go to Mavis Tires and Brakes to get a new tire because two nails were found in one tire. However, the manager, Paul, stated that they don't accept the tire protection plan. I decided to speak to a claims representative, and he discussed the claim process with the manager. However, I felt that he wasn't interested in understanding how the claim process works, which prevented them from deciding to send me back to the Lexus dealership to have my tire replaced.
