  I experience an issue with this location on Friday February 27th but i must admit the manger, Rick, quickly got involved and offered a lot of solutions that not only helped me but showed me that professionally he works to get things corrected. I had been a customer for many years and although an incident occurred i was very impressed with how things ended. Good job jiffy lube!

  On February 27th, I arrived at this location around 10:30 am for an oil change. I had also agreed to a tire rotation and two filter replacements. During the service, the manager approached me and informed me that a piece of plastic had melted into the oil chamber. They were attempting to retrieve it, but if unsuccessful, they would have to drain the oil pan and remove it manually. However, due to other scheduled services, I couldn’t have the repairs completed that day. I explained to the manager that my car should be prioritized since the plastic material wasn’t present before the service. Nevertheless, it was a material they used, and for some reason, they left it in the engine, causing it to melt. The manager then informed me that his boss had instructed them to postpone the car’s repair until the next day. Consequently, I was asked to leave without my vehicle. I refused to leave without my car or make a claim. Instead, they called the police on me. Fortunately, the police sided with me and left after stating that their actions were unprofessional and unethical. The manager, Jo Jo, displayed no remorse and was quite snobbish about the situation. I have since contacted a lawyer and the company that owns the location, TEAM CAR CARE EAST, LLC, to discuss the next steps. While they aren’t inherently bad, it’s advisable to avoid this location if possible, as they have a history of damaging vehicles.

  Rick was extremely helpful and informative on my exact needs for my vehicle and helped me figure out a way to get it done with the firm and it was greatly appreciated and in the future I plan on doing more business with Rick.

  I use the Jiffy Lube on San Jose and Loretto. I've got a car, 2018 Kia Sorrento with a GDI engine. This particular engine burns oil. You can't see it, but every 200 miles I stop by for a top off. I've done this several times. But on one occasion, there was a new girl. And after the top off, she said they might be ending my agreement. She said something about too many visits. I have had great service from these guys. I was taken aback by this girl, who apparently is some kind of manager. I'm considering going back to Take5. The guys are great. I'd recommend them in a heart beat. If your vehicle doesn't go through oil, you're going to get great service.
