I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Hanania Volkswagen of Orange Park, specifically involving Shae Taylor, Jerrica, and Jeremiah. This has been nothing short of horrible service and complete negligence.
It has now been over 4 months since I traded in my vehicle, and the trade-in payoff has still not been properly completed. Despite countless calls, messages, and follow-ups, no one has made a real effort to resolve this issue or take accountability.
Because of their mistakes:
• The payoff is delayed and/or applied using incorrect information
• A deposit error nearly resulted in my brother-in-law being arrested, which is absolutely unacceptable. If it were not for my own persistence and intervention, this situation could have ended very badly
• My credit is now being damaged because payments were not handled correctly and the payoff was misapplied
What makes this even worse is the lack of care, urgency, or communication. Emails and calls go unanswered, promises are made and broken, and no one seems concerned about the serious financial and legal consequences caused by their errors.
This dealership shows zero responsibility after the sale, and once the paperwork was signed, it felt like I no longer mattered. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business here—especially if you have a trade-in—to think twice.
This has been an exhausting, stressful, and completely avoidable experience caused by poor management and horrible customer service.

Let me tell you buying a car can not be any easier than this. As a first time buyer, they answered all my questions making the process super simple and fast. Shae and Jeremiah are a blessing. Thank you Guys!!
Shae Stephens and her sales manager Jeremiah, are hands down the best I’ve ever dealt with! They truly made our experience great! If you’re in need of a car, go see them!!! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would.

We were visiting from TN for holidays and our check engine light came on the day before we left. We wanted to make sure it was ok to drive the 8 hours home. Natalie and the service department had no issue getting us in that afternoon. They ran diagnostics on my car, found the issue and addressed it all within an hour. We cannot thank them enough. Duval is lucky to have such an awesome dealership and service center!
In our experience, Hanania Volkswagen has been the most rude, unprofessional, and unethical dealership we have ever dealt with — and that’s saying a lot, considering we’ve completed over 32 vehicle transactions in the past.
Over the course of more than three months, our time was completely wasted. Communication was nonexistent — no returned calls, no texts, no follow-ups. We were repeatedly misled, given conflicting information, and left in the dark despite constantly trying to resolve the situation in good faith.
From our perspective, the behavior we encountered felt deceptive and dishonest. Promises were made and not kept. Numbers changed. Accountability was avoided. What should have been a straightforward transaction turned into a drawn-out nightmare that cost us time, money, and unnecessary stress.
In our opinion, this dealership operates with zero professionalism and zero respect for customers. We felt taken advantage of, ignored, and completely dismissed once they had what they wanted.
This was by far the worst car-buying experience we have ever had, and we are now considering legal options due to how this situation was handled.
If you value your time, money, and sanity, we strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
