*****7/28/25 UPDATE*****
We would like to provide an update on our recent review. We were contacted by Anthony, from Gerber’s marketing team, regarding our concerns. He promptly scheduled us to visit another location to rectify all of our issues. While we would not recommend using the Cassat Ave location, Gerber does back up their work and offers a lifetime warranty on their work should any issues arise. We are now satisfied with the work completed to our car. Thank you !

After an accident, we filed a claim for damages and were advised by our insurance to take our vehicle to a specific shop for repairs. As a preferred vendor for our carrier, we anticipated minimal issues. However, our experience was different.
From the initial drop-off, our service writer, Lisa, informed us that she was on her first day. Throughout the repair process, communication with Lisa was limited, and updates were limited to automatic notifications. After several weeks, we received a call indicating that our car was ready for pickup. Upon returning our rental, we proceeded to pick up my vehicle.
Upon arrival, we requested a thorough inspection. During the walk-through, we discovered additional damage beyond what was present upon drop-off. These included a cracked windshield, multiple dents, red paint (my car is white), and misaligned door and fender. Lisa returned from her lunch break during our inspection. We expressed our concerns to her. Lisa suggested that PDR could remove the dents and buff out the red paint, and the technician could attempt to align the door and fender. Regarding the windshield crack, she attempted to claim that it was present upon drop-off. However, I retrieved photographs from the morning of the drop-off and presented them to her, demonstrating that the crack was absent. She then advised me to contact my insurance to utilize a windshield replacement. I promptly declined, as the crack occurred while the vehicle was in their possession, and it was evident that it was caused during the removal or reinstallation of my fender. I reiterated all of our concerns before leaving the vehicle with them once again.
A few days later, we received a call informing us that the car was ready. We returned our rental and proceeded to pick it up. Lisa brought out our car for inspection. We walked around to ensure that all the agreed-upon repairs had been completed. The windshield was replaced, and the dents were removed. However, the fender and door alignment was still not corrected, and additional dents were also made on my car. Furthermore, the red paint was still present.
When we raised these concerns, Lisa denied that we had ever discussed the alignment or the red paint. She then explained that since the fender was an aftermarket component, it would never have the OEM alignment. She offered to leave our car for a third time to address these issues.
Regrettably, due to the overall unsatisfactory experience with the repair shop, we have decided to take our car to another location to address the door/fender alignment, the additional dents, and the red paint overspray. It is an understatement to say that we are deeply disappointed and frustrated with the situation. We strongly advise other customers to seek repairs elsewhere for any vehicle issues!!!
