    Carey in the front office was so nice and helpful. He didn’t try to add on unnecessary work or pressure me about anything. I live close and the guys in the shop offered to drive me home when I dropped off my vehicle. My car had been making a noise for about 6 months and has been evaluated by three other shops including a dealership but Action Transmission was the only one to give me a correct diagnosis. They said they do work other than transmission jobs so I will definitely be back to them for any future issues. Thank you so much guys!

    *POST UPDATE* The owner Robin called me yesterday (12/3/25) and apologized on Carey’s behalf. Robin is truly a man of his word and a beautiful spirit. He honored the coupon and listened to all of my concerns. Most importantly he made sure the work was completed correctly on my vehicle. This is what true customer service is. Many blessings to his business. While I couldn’t give his business a 5 star (solely on Carey’s behavior) I would recommend getting your car serviced here. Please work with Robin or Caesar only. Both of these men showed great customer service. 12/2/25 If I could give zero stars I would! The service I received from Carey Pearson was deplorable! If you want to be disrespected and lied to, this is the shop to go to. Carey was rude and lied multiple times throughout my entire experience! When I initially walked into the office Carey didn’t even greet me! I had to tell him I spoke with a man by the name of Caesar (Caesar was very pleasant) and he told me I could drop my car off to be looked at. Carey was so disassociated and uninterested in providing good customer service it was pathetic! I asked him if I decide to get my car serviced here would the diagnostic fee be removed he said “yes”. This is a standard process for majority of all repair shops and dealerships. When I came to pick up my car I presented him with the below coupon and he lied and said he never told me the diagnostic fee would be removed and him removing that fee was my coupon. He also LIED and said the coupon states a coupon had to be presented before work is performed. As you can see below the coupon stated nothing of the sort! Then he stated he was going to charge me a 3% fee for using a debit card. When I told him to read to me where it says a debit card charges a 3% fee he read a line about a credit card charging that fee. He proceeded to say he didn’t care a credit card and debit card is the same so pay the fee or leave. The owner has to get control of this guy because he is bad business! This was only a small portion of the fiasco I went through with this guy! I would NEVER recommend anyone to come here EVER! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT THIS SHOP!

    Today, 12/01/25, my daughter and I came in to have a diagnostic test done on her car. We spoke with Carey regarding the matter. We asked upon the conclusion of the test and if work is required will that fee be applied towards the labor cost and he replied, yes. We had the work done and when we arrived to get the car that's when things went down hill! My daughter was paying with her credit card towhich Carey said there will be a 3% additional charge. OK, that was fine so she preceded to pay with her debit card. He then said, there is a 3% additional charge for debit card too! According to him, a debit card and a credit card are the same. My daughter has worked in the banking industry. She and I both eloquently explained to him the difference between the two. Yet, he insisted that the fee of 3% must be paid before we could get her car. I said to him, there is nothing posted indicating that to customers. He said it's on the document we signed to have the diagnostic test done. That document states, "Credit Cards" a 3% additional charge NOT debit cards! We bantered back and forth about that but to no avail! We then presented him with their 10% off coupon that he did not honor because he said that must be presented upon our initial arrival and that is stated on the coupon. No where on that coupon did it indicate it must be presented upon arrival! Our interactions with Mr. Carey wasn't pleasant nor professional on his part at all!! He also lied and said, I asked about a discount when we first came in and that he has already given me a discount. I never ask about a discount when I initially came in!!! I'm giving them a one star based on the interaction with Mr. Carey. I can only hope and pray the work that was done is right! 12/03/2025 update: The owner did honor their 10% coupon and refunded my daughter the cash difference. The initial fiasco she paid with cash therefore no 3% debit card refund was given.

    As I sit here, the problem I had to begin with,I still have. This was after they told me my transmission needed replacing for 3000 dollars. When that failed to fix problem Robin told me I should pull over on side of road and disconnect my battery cables. Of coarse this was as not acceptable. Then Robin said that I needed a new computer for 1,200 and if I didn't like it I could come and get my van. So ano1,200 and my transmission still doesn't work. I'm now past my warranty. Robin is a liar and will never get my business again. Use these people at your own pearl.
